UPDATE

I just called the Munice police department, they told me that I have to call my local police edepartment to file a report, doing so now.

 

He's shaking as vibrator right now, I think.

 

I am pretty sure if this was me getting screwed over I would show up where he lives... Then again I used to live a few hours away from Muncie. I don't know what I would do once I got there but... I am sure the authorities would be with me for the knock on the door.

 

That's a good thought but I have a feeling the Muncie police would not escort you to his door. Not much they can until it gets determined it is in there jurisdiction. To the OP - were they able to tell you whether HE had actually filed a report as he claims?

 

I would probably just bring the Michigan Militia lol. Hope you guys get what is right. I was scammed once by a guy on the Nico forums, I have been bitter ever since.

 

Well I reading more on the Lotus Talk threads, and noticed that someone here posted that he tried selling his LE-37's again... well that post for his LE-37's on LotusTalk was essentially done around the same time as his posting about his Lotus on the my350z forum...

If the mods would compared the postings IP addy, that should give clear cut evidence of it was him or not posting the scams.

Sigh, local police said nothing they can do regarding an internet crime. According to him, the only thing we can do is to file a report to ic3 (http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx) which i've already did so.

Guess i can just sit and wait now

 

Seriously...there has to be something else that can be done! I'd contact the FBI directly if I were you

 

Hell, I'd contact the local FBI authorities and explain to them the whole situation and how several others are involved. Try to pull the sympathy card from them LOL And ask them to explain how this will all be situated like how the process of investigation works to how the conviction process is handled. Give them all the documented proof you could including the postings.

Seriously! Don't these scammers understand I'm trying to be entertained for the last 30 minutes of my shift on a Friday afternoon!

 

If there aren't any legal actions that can be taken to provide justice to the scam victims, we should take matters into our own hands Anyone hear a while back when some scammer's address was found and numerous magazine subscriptions were sent to his house, pizzas were ordered to the house, etc.. can't find the thread right now but someone has to know what I'm talking about. Make this sorry SOB wish he never messed with my350z!!
