Why'd you choose the 350Z over the G35 coupe?

+1. to me, anything more luxurious starts meaning extra weight, which is not what i was looking for in a sports car. Z33 ftw.

This is my process of purchasing a Z instead of a G.

1. Sick looking.
2. Married but no kids.
3. More unique. I rarely see Z's around, but see G's almost everytime I drive.
4. Price.
5. It's a sports car and not a sporty car.

With those 5 reasons, I am sad that one day, I will have to sell my Z and get a 4 door or 5 seater. If I have gotten the G, I could keep the car until I needed a van.

Reasons for getting Z:
1. Cheaper... I'm 23 and stable but I don't have dough like that...
2. Better gas mileage... yes better gas... my girlfriend's brother has a g35 and is always bitchin about only get 18 miles to the gallon. I get 22mpg with a heavy foot.
3. Cheaper to modify and Forged Performance is right down the street!
4. I'm 23!!!! with no kids, no wife, no major responsibilities... so its no or never before I have my first mistake... I mean kid. lol
5. Z=sex G=mastubation

Z man, the G35 IMO is nice and all but has its cons that made me sway to a Z. The interior of the G is way too spacious.. I was after a small, compact, sleek, sporty, fast car. I found the G too big, not as nice of headlights, the front bumper on the G is sedan styled, the shape is not as extreme as the Z.

The Z has it all. IMO nice interior, great for crusin, great feedback from anyone that sees it, you look damn cool driving it, girls are all over it, its fast from factory, everyone loves a Z, more rare to see, cooler taillights, sleek body..

I had the same debate with myself when I bought my Z, the dealer I went to had both the Z and the G side by side and I chose the Z, and it wasnt a price debate.

I usually don't say anything on this forum. But if you want to know why.... HERITAGE! I had all kinds of Z's and the Infinite is an American only brand. This is an Enthusiast forum not what kind of luxury car should my deep pockets get me next. NUFF said!

-My Z doesn't rattle, and I treat it like a cheap ***** on any road.

-The updated Z interior is just perfect, other than no oil temp guage, it doesn't look cheap by any means, I believe that this "gossip" remained active since the Z's old interior did suck. Come on, you didn't buy a Audi.

-The Z exhaust is intoxication, gives me a wood everytime.

- I'm an *** man, Z cars... No competition. (Don't ask for pics?!)

P.S.
By better gas mileage I believe he means amount of weight your hauling around.
-G's heavier.
-Seats more.

I didn't want a back seat and the $$ was more, I bought new. I also thought it had a sportier look.

I still love my Z interior, it is unique and different.

I choose the Z because G price is higher, but if I had not taken this route, I would not have gotten what I have now. Looking back, I am happy that I made the Z decision since aftermarket on the car is simply endless. I love the G tail, but the overall Z body is timeless. Needless to say, the Z gives me happiness.

Z over G....so i can call "NOT IT" when all my friends wanna go somewhere cause it's only a 2 seater.

mu haha im such a Ahole!

I just like the design of the Z as well over the G......But all the fine tuned info points out why the Z is a better car anyway.
