the worst has happened
sounds to me like u didn't purchase the driver mod....
i had a crossfire that got hit in the front end but i was not at fault, the other lady was, i have progressive, but i was able to pull any parts off when it was at the towing garage if i replaced them with factory....so i basically stripped everything back off such as bolt ons and wheels, some things had to stay, and things that were aftermarket and were destroyed i was given money for

I had state farm insurance on my old 95 accord. I did mods and did not tell them. (fresh paint, rims, stereo, lowering etc). The car was stolen and I mentioned the mods. They came back and said, since you had mods and did not tell us, we wont pay you for the mods or even the value of the car.
Their position was, but for the fact of the mods you had, the car would not have been stolen.
Bottom line, I would not mention it. They ended up paying me 2 months later, since they could not prove that they had previously told me I had to tell them about any mods I do..
Insurance companies are shady.
