I have an 05' enthusiast, and i'd choose the Track, if possible. I'd definately prefer brembos, if I could get them. If you go non-brembo, and add TT's to an HR motor, your definately probably want to add a BBK to handle the extra horse???? why not start off with a good braking car, and add on from there???

bold statement! i bet 90% of people start with increasing power than upgrading brakes! im not saying your strategy is wrong, its just bold haha
I agree. You might want to go with the 05 Track. You can also upgrade the brakes by selling your brembo setup. You can have a TT setup, but if you can't stop in time, the TT setup might just be junked.
For 2005, the Grand Touring and Track models had the 7000rpm 300hp rev-up motor, while the rest got the non-rev-up 287hp motor.
You sure about that? I thought that only the 35th Anniversary model got the rev-up in 2005? Isn't that what made it special? And then in 2006 every model got it.
get the 05 track and just up date the 6+ comstic everything just bolts right up besides the wiring i think is differnent. Im still doing my own research on the headlights and taillights.
my bad i guess its the rev up motor... and when you guys are saying nicer headlights are you talking a nicer housing or nicer HID's??
The headlights on the '06 are completely different. Not only do they look better physically, but they are also bi-xenon, meaning HID low beams and high beams; the '05 has low beam-HID and halogen high beam. The '06 lights also put out more light, and have a sharper beam pattern.
If you do get the '05, you could always upgrade the lights for about $1000, minus whatever you sell your old ones for, probably like $500ish.

No - '06 MT got the rev-up....auto's have the 'standard' DE. No issues w/mine.
um.... neither. i kept the rsx for now. im going to look into an 07 enthusiast next spring and see if i can find a deal on one..... but the price to mod these cars is outrageous!! its drawing me slowly away from wanting one. i put $3500 into my rsx and it puts down 245whp and runs low 13's with no traction on street tires.... thats a hell of a lot faster than stock. if i put $3500 into a 350z i might get 25-30whp?? TT setups run $8000+ and thats just the tt setup nevermind supporting mods..... you have to be rich to mod this car.. lol

And in 06, manuals got the revup, and automatics got a standard DE.
I would go with the 05 track anyway... You'll have all the amenities of the 06 enthusiast, minus bi-xenons and LED tails, and you'll get the lightweight wheels and brembos. And correct me if I'm wrong, but the DE had more torque than the revup...

Absolutely certain that the 2005 Track model (and 35AE 6MT) cars got the RevUp.
I've got an '05 track sitting in my garage. 7000 RPM redline.
