yeah... i hate to say it but u guys are right... i'm gonna have to wait for atleast 2 years. i could trade in my truck right now for 14,000 but its still not enough. hopefully, if i can save enough money when i get 18, and sell my truck, i will have enough to make the payments about 250. maybe then, my parents will be nice enough to take care of the payments for a graduation gift. here's hopein. anyways, thanks for your posts guys.

amdin u can close this thread. thx

I'm 35 years old, have an advanced degree and have been making a six figure salary for over 5 years now and the Z still seems to me like A HELL OF A LOT OF MONEY to spend on a depreciable asset.

The Z is a sweeet vehicle (I own the arguably less stunning Infiniti G35 and love it), but you're smart to be patient...

I'm probably the minority around here, but my opinion is that if your net liquid assets (cash, stock) are less than your total debt then you're better off waiting.

This car is just a PURE EVIL. Everyone wants it. If you are 16, I suggest you (like everyone else does) to go through college. You will need a lot more money in college. My book costs $80-100 a piece, required but the prof never use it. You still have a long way to go. in average, people live up to 60-80 years old. You are still within 25% of your life, you still have more than 50% to go.

Btw, car is the worst investment, it can only go down, rarely go up in value. Get something else. Hey ! I want a Z too. I am currently driving a 2002 Honda Civic Si, my parent bought me those and paid for my insurance. it was ok until I got my first ding. Someone hit it by a shopping cart, then 2 months ago, a drunk driver hit it in the middle of the night, I was asleep. I got it fix and paid $1000 for deductible. Then I installed my stereo, took me 3 months to make my own fiberglass subwoofer box. I started before my car got hit. Then 2 weeks after it left the shop, I continue working on the audio, I finished it. The next day morning, somebody stole my Headunit and broke my window, he took the AC control too. Another $1000. First one my parents paid for the insurance, second one I insist to pay it my self. currently owe my credit card some money.

Sometimes, no matter how good you are driving, it is not you causing your car dent ot broken. It is someone else.

I am 23, no proper job. making $9/hr as school web designer. Majoring in Civil Engineering, doing master. All I can think of, is getting a decent job, save up a bit and get a Z.

We are on the same way hope my thought helps. Good Luck. (School first, Z later, Ferarri after Z)
