Default HELP!! Got paint on my car!!

I just recently had the outside of my garage repainted and just now realised after a week that 2 drops of paint (the size of dimes) got onto my car. The paint is now dry and doesn't seem to come off...i'm hesitant to try paint thinner until i get some advice from you guys here. Any advice or experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I would try to wash it at the car wash a few times, thinking the paint drops wont be able to hold up against the pressure. if that doesnt work think about running past a detail shop they should be able to help.

could even try claying that area if you have clay, I know it can work on overspray.

itll come off, but I wouldnt use paint remover, thats a bit too much.

last choice go to a professional. but that comes before paint remover.

Default Paint

Well, if it is "normal" house paint and there are just 2 dime sized spots there is probably a good chance at just lifting the edge and peeling them off. (assuming your car had ax on it) .

I would try gentle prying with a fingernail first. Or VERY carefully with the tip of a pointy exacto knife, just stay off of the car's paint.

Just my $0.02

I had run my Mini van over some fresh highway paint leaving a lot of paint splashed over the lower fenders. A web site suggested using LACQUER thinner. It worked. Try it in an inconspicuous spot first. It did not harm my paint but check first.

Z-Incognito,
What i was talking about were the headlights. If you look at the picture on the right of ZThang's last post, the headlights have a clear reflector strip instead of orange. You would have to change the entire headlights to change it. Either that or there is no orange strip, i cant tell from the pic. Do you see what i mean?
