I expected this to be a thread about some girl showing off pics of herself.
I've never mis-shifted my G coupe. The only car I've ever done this on, was a 5spd Camry I had back in the day, because calling a Toyota shifter utter garbage would be an insult to garbage.

Never had any problems with mis-shifting in the Z...

On a side note, that first video was fuc.king hilarious... The best part is when the kid blamed everything on the car.

I've missed maybe a couple times. None of us are perfect. But I always catch it before I let off the clutch.

I've missed 3-4th a few times. It seems to only occur when I'm on a slight turn at almost redline. But never did it get past redline or go into second. Grab that clutch when you realize you did something wrong. I shift pretty quickly and am always ready to grab the clutch just as fast to prevent seeing 10k rpm.

I've never misshifted using this technique. (Knock on wood)
Correct hand position on the shift **** will minimize if not eliminate mis-shifts. Put your palm on top of the shift ****, and do not grip the **** like you are trying to kill it. You missed 3rd to 4th by accidentally shifting into second. 3rd to fourth should be your easiest shift, straight down. I would bet money that you were gripping the shift **** like a pistol and accidentally pulled it towards the driver's seat, thus pulling the vehicle into second. Like itsjiggajames, I have never missed a shift in my Z while using correct hand positioning.
