I can't believe no one mentioned the rearward visibility yet. I am shopping for a camera system with wide angle rear camera to cover me backing out of a parking space with a pick-up or an SUV on either side. I have to stick my rear end out about 1.5 meters before I can see if anything is coming (car or pedestrian).

You shouldn't be parking next to anyone to begin with..

Its not that bad lol.

A camera helps, but not much in that situation. Even a wide angle wont let you see side to side. I have one but I only use it to back up super close to a wall or my brothers car.

I hate how the engine is 75% larger than an S2000 but only slightly faster. Ran my brothers AP2 last night at 70MPH, he was in 4th and I was in 5th. We were neck to neck but when he shifted to 5th I started pulling away.

The high RPM (DE) powerline is so god damn boring! Maybe im just used to my old honda with VTEC turbo, but jesus christ I rarely redline my car.

With my roll cage I can't really see out my test view mirror unless the car is 1 foot behind my bumper. And I have 0% view of my blind spots

I back in to every parking spot. No more problems.

My biggest complaint is it's not legal to get married to her yet.

Couldn't have car fun with this thick chick the other day.. Lol. Other than that. ****in love this car. It's true it's lost it's value a lot and every kid can ask they're parents for one.
But I still look back at it when I park it and say "damn she looks good" .. Still pulls in the chicks.

I don't hate anything about it.

But here is what I love:
- she is payed off
- beautiful to look at
- still makes me as happy as the day I got her

Now, for the haters:
- If you think she drives to rough, buy a Camry.
- If you don't like the orange peel, get it professionally wet sanded, detailed and put a surface coat on it like optimum opti pro. It will help a lot.
- If you don't like the blind spots, adjust your mirrors and get a rear view camera that can stay on all the time.
- if you still don't like it you can sell it to a snot nosed teenager for real cheap and stop complaining that everyone can have one now.
- if you can't fit it in your front door, move your bed to the garage .

If I could fit it in my front door I would be so happy...but I live on the 3rd floor

I just hate the fact that it's so sexy...
I find myself turning to look at it too often when I leave it parked.
I then get cricks in my neck and want to cry.

The struggle of owning these wonderful machines ...

2004.5 Touring.
The good stuff- Just rolled over 100k. Motor still just about as smooth as new. No oil burning.Original clutch, no alignment or tire wear issues, all equipment still works fine, though passenger window has a mind of its own occasionally on automatic roll-up. From everything I've read-I've been lucky.

The bad stuff- a light clunk in the rear end at low speeds, driving straight, almost from day-one. I bought car brand new. No satisfaction from dealer. Strut lifts for rear hatch failed within a couple months of new-replaced with stronger ones. Bose sub cuts out occasionally. I keep the system cuz I want to keep car stock. (System actually sounds great with mp3 running through a cassette adapter- much hotter signal). Replaced camshaft position sensors once at 86k (very easy) and oil pressure switch at 84k (very easy). Synchro for 5th gear a little slower than it used to be.

What I dislike most is easily, interior quality. Seats have held up okay, but scratches on center waterfall pieces make me insane. I would give anything to have the 370 interior in this 350.

All in all, for a sports car its been a really good car. Its starting to age enough where I get compliments on its excellent condition. Until I can (if ever) afford a 911, this one is staying.

The easily scratched interior pieces bug me too. Going to pull them and refinish them some day soon when it warms up I think.

And the engine noise internally is a bit much. Love the sound of it but after a while on a longer drive the drone is a bit... annoying.

soft paint... gets scratched and chipped way too easily... thin *** doors, even a tiny bump, it get dinged so easily!!! so fragile... smh
the car is on the loud side.. but thats how you keep the weight down.. so yea its not really good for long drives.. lol. i know people have the Z for a daily, but imo its not practical and comfortable for a daily. thats why its my summer weekend car.

I only get to see/drive it every three weeks because of college. I feel like a father having visitation weekends...
