Well, for those not innundated by Hurricane Isabel, Friday turned out to be a fantastic day in Charlotte. The number of cars that showed up for the SuperStreet Tour stop on the way to NOPI was smaller than previous years, but we still managed to fill up 4 large parking lots with cars on their way to Atlanta!

Being the informal photographer for GMP, I spent more time getting shots of the display cars than of those that showed up for the event. Following is a selection of shots from Friday including some nice pics of my Brickyard baby sporting some different shoes!!!

 

First off... no kidding... there were a bunch of people there...

I didn't get much time to roam the parking lots to take pics, but found this paint job (despite being on a Tiberon) to be my favorite of the day...

 

over on GMP's lot where all their display cars as well as a few vendor cars.

A late arrival was this miata from Jackson Racing...

 

another late arrival was this Supra sporting a BIG single turbo...

 

GMP Performance rolled out this sweet Twin Turbo Porsche... I only wish it had been parked where I could get a better pic of it...

 

Also there were a pair of Audis. This sedan courtesy of a loyal GMP customer...

 

... and this wagon owned by the RH wheel rep...

 

but what about Zs, you say? Well, this Konig wheels car showed up ahead of the sea of imports...

 

It was sporting these yet-to-be-released wheels that look pretty damn good!!!

 

because GMP does not carry iForged yet, I had to sport some new shoes for the show. These were loaners, but looked sweeeeeet. On the passenger side, we had a 20" RH 5-spoke set up (Sorry... don't know the design names). Unfortunately, I did not get many pics of this side... the lighting was never too good...

Hey mcduck are those Artec rims on the driver's side. both sides look sweet! I like the driver's side best. Hey what hapened to yur "No Stickers" policy? Lol. Those Audis made me drool. Especially that wagon. That would be a great everyday ride. Save the Z for the weekends. That silver Z that I saw after everyone left was pretty hot too!

Both pairs of wheels on my car were RH designs. The design names are posted with one of the pics above.

The GMP stickers came off after the show... we've worked out some deals so I have to sport some advertising for them at shows. As long as I can get them back off later, no biggie for me!
