Default Silverstone??

I just went to nissandriven.com and went to the page where you can "design your maxima". The paint code for the polished titanium is WV2, the same as silverstone for the Z. If the KYO is the same chrome silver as the pathfinder's, does this mean that this is the same also?

AtlZ,

That's pretty cool. Yeah, I think it's a sure bet if the code is WV2 then it's the same color as "Silverstone".

I see the Polished Titanium exterior color option, but I don't see where it shows the paint codes. Where are they?

Someone posted a bunch of "Silverstone" pics over at zcar....

Hold on, before you all go running over there, they were pics of Alecia Silverstone of Aerosmith video fame. Not pics of a car but very nice pics none-the-less. Pretty funny play on words too!

Duh! I should have thought of that. Too many beers earlier today at the cookout!

That's awesome. I'm going to my local Nissan dealer tomorrow to look at a "Silverstone" WV2 mad Maxima!

The color on the Maxima that will most likely resemble the silverstone color would be "Grey Lustre". It is a deep metallic grey much like the Seal Grey you see on the Porsche 911.

Apparently the '03 Maxima has a new color that wasn't available in '02, which is the Polished Titanium, aka paint code WV2, aka Silverstone on the 350Z.

I spoke with a rep ( not a model ) at an auto show when I was checkin out my soon-to-be car, and he said that there would be a color for the maxima that would be 'very' close to silverstone, and to look for it to hit showrooms about june. At the time my order was silverstone, which is why I asked about the color. Just saying this to verify the find. Good job finding the paint code, turns out it IS silverstone, I'm trying to decide which name for the color I like better.

Thanks for the clarification. I wonder how much different it will look from the 02' color.

Silverstone is a much better name. Any colour that is named after a track tickles my fancy. BMW's M devisoon does this (Imola Red, Silverstone, Le Mans Blue, Estoril Blue, etc.).
