Thumbs up just got my Z 3 days ago, WOW

i have two corvettes, one at 600hp and one at 700hp, and just got tired of working on them so much to keep them on the road. every week something would happen and i'd have to tear the motor down to replace something, but it was ok for awhile because they are so dam fast but it takes a toll on the pocket book.
decided i needed something with a warranty and that had room for future mods. looked to see what was available and went to the nissan dealership first. the test drive was good but didn't get much of a chance to push it as the salesmans knuckles were already turning white. i decided it was a pretty cool car and the best for what i was looking for, so i got it.
this weekend i grabbed a friend and we put it through the riggers. holy smokes!!!! this car surprised the heck out of me. the handling is absolutely awesome, right out of the box!!! it needs more power, but the chassis is perfect for supercar statis.
after finding this sight and looking at what parts are already available and some of the body kits and wheels on peoples cars this can be made into a pretty awesome performing and looking car. i've already started making a list of parts to start adding.
i've always been a chevy guy and had some pretty cool cars but after having this for a few days now, i'm glad i made the cross over.
if anyone is interested i'm selling one of the vettes. 550hp motor +150hp shot 383cid. 90 coupe, awesome stereo custom hood scoop w/ 550 marenello type air opening in front, pearl orange w/ black stripe down center. car needs VERY minor things to be perfect.custom wheels 13k-14k i'm in or. car will go on e-bay next week, the Z is outside right now and need to make space in the shop ASAP.

being that you came from V8 with plenty of torque and power what mods would you think of doing immediately for your new Z?

Congrats on the purchase. Like yourself, I was always a Chevy v8 kinda guy. Anyway I had wanted to buy a new Vette for a long time, but when I finally went to buy one, it wasn't anything special anymore. It is still an impressive vehicle, but it's also 1 out of every 5 cars on the road. I didn't want to see my car 27 times while driving to the store. I looked into the Z, and all I can say is WOW. I can't wait for it to get here. I sacrificed some horsepower buy not buying the Vette, but the $20,000 I saved will buy me a boatload of mods.

I was real bummed upon finding out that it would take until January for them to build my Z, but now I'm kinda psyched....................when it finally gets here, the aftermarket turbos will be available. HeHe

i was going to put it on e-bay w/ buy it now of 13.5k or 14k. it is very subtuly custom w/ holley stealth ram injection, headers, true duals, trans has 3k miles on it w/racing clutches and steels w/ 2800 stall. the list of parts would fill this page. this car is quite intimidating to hear run and most will never want to race you on the street. cam is 250@0.050 lift and .575 at the valve on 112centerline. if you've heard a grind like that it actually sounds like pop not a burble at idle. motor only has 2k on it. selling for very good price but just need space quick in my shop for the Z and money to mod the Z, besides i've still got the 6-71 blown vert. to drive
