I almost always get that when I'm playing around with my Z and then park it. It's just the high heat of the exhaust and engine....it will go way after a couple mins or when it cools down...

the clutch burning will have a really "sweet" smell to it... sorta like brown sugar melting on the stove.

if you smell it inside the car after accelerating hard, it's likely your clutch. Either way, don't just let it go.... get it checked out. The money it might save you is worth the time.

Too bad you cannot attach a odor. We should work on that.

Could that smell come from your underpants due to extreme speed? Might also want to check it out. The only thing I smell is the funk due to previous owner not running out all the AC air from the unit.

So what happens when you don't run all the AC air out? I get a funky smell from my air system sometimes and can't figure why. Thought it might be the air filters needing replacement.

Since the summer is here, I'm going to Lysol the hell out of my AC unit. I've been reading on it and you can spray Lysol right below your back hood and in front of your windshield. Lysol should prevent bacteria from coming back. If it's a 3 months fix, it's worth it. BTW, there's no cabin filter for the Z, so you can't replace it.

Sounds like hot clutch or something. Get someone who knows how to drive a manual and have them teach you how to drive the car correctly.
