Oh for gods sake people, you never worked under a car before? It might be a biatch to get to the bolts but other than that it is bolt off/bolt on. Let the guy get his his hands dirty, he got good advice here on how to do it safely.

I would highly recommend not using the OEM scissor jack to get under the car...

Take it to a shop with a lift, for what they will charge you it will be worth it. I did it on my last car and it was a pain in the arsh... and my family owned the shop.

Its not worth the risk.

And don't forget the standard rules: Block the wheels that are on the ground. Don't rely on cement blocks that can suddenly give way. Don't rely on a jack. The jack is just a tool to place the car on stands.

Go and buy a low profile jack and a pair or two of quality jack stands.

You really just need to lift one side at a time to do it, not the whole front.

About the stock jack that comes with the car:
No one should be using that for regular o'l garage work. You save that for when you have a blown tire on the side of the road.

You can get some jackstands for 15 bucks at SEARS and handle jack for fairly cheap.
