Ok, so I awoke this morning and looked outside and some punk redneck wrote "Buy a Ford" on my windshield. It was just with one of those glass crayons they use at dealerships....so I'm not worried about that.
However I tried to unlock my doors and they wouldn't. I had to hit the lock button and then they finally unlocked. I'm just wondering if they set of the alarm or something? I didn't hear anything, but I don't know why else the doors wouldn't unlock. I've never had a problem before. Does anyone know what would cause that?
Anyways, other than that my car seems fine. Still really pisses me off though.

Being from WV I must say that I am a little hurt about the Redneck thing! Never in my life would I ever touch someones car!!! If I had a problem with someone I am very straight forward! I will either punch you in the mouth or get my azz whipped! Why on earth do people think they have the right to do stuff like this! If my dad (age 63) found out I did something like that he would beat me until he couldnt move anymore! People have absolutly no respect anymore! I must tell everyone that even here in WV that we dont call this types of people rednecks. We call them white trash! I personally know and went to school with a whole school of white farmers and orchard kids. The parking lot was full of pickup trucks (Hedgesville). These people are pround to be rednecks. They would beat the crap out of white trash. The main difference is rednecks are people like you and I who work hard 40-50hrs a week and head to the tractor pull on Sat night. They are a simple group who enjoy some of the lesser things in life. With no intention to harm or destroy anything! White trash normally live off of well fare and dont contribute to society at all! They have several old cars that arent collectors or future fixer uppers just ones that no longer run! They always live life like the rest of the world owes them something! They are a waste of space! I consider myself a Redneck (after all it is a term that was started in WV) But when it was started it meant a coal miner who was proud to stand up to the mines owners who paid no wage and brutally kept out Unions! Thousands of hardworking miners tied red bandanas to thier necks and marched into southern WV to fight back with whatever weapons they had! It was finally resolved when the goverment sent in the guard to push them back! That is where the term Redneck started from. Not some raciest or nascar loving hillbilly! I am very sorry some WHITE TRASH idiot vandolized your car! But I assure you that a redneck isnt the culprite. Not trying to steal your thread but I hear people use that term all the time and I thought I would try and shed some light. Again, sorry your car got vandalized.

 

Next time they write that on your windshield respond below it with "I dont want a car that can't outlast the airfeshener." That might be too long but they'll get the point.

 

My uncles 1995 F-150 had 217,000 miles on it, but it was a POS and small things were constantly breaking on it. But thats just besides the point

 

Cars yes, trucks no! I have seen 2 different first gen Dodge diesels. Both were 1992's. One had 650k on it without an engine overhaul nad the other was almost 900k miles on it WITHOUT AN ENGINE OVERHAUL. Just proper maintaince. Whats even more impressive is that these trucks got the miles towing! Could you imagine your car running 100k if the motor had to pull 3 to 4 times the wieght of the car itself. I DONT THINK SO! CUMMINS engines are the greatest engines ever made! And just incase you think they are a sloppy, no power inline 6. I have ridden in a 1993 Dodge W250 that made 1400 FT and over 800 hp. And at Carlisle they had 2001 quad cab short bed 4x4 that had 1600ft-lbs and over 1000hp a couple years ago. Thats the most powerful everyday driven vehicle I have ever seen. Even our VQ's cant do that.

 

They need to spray chemical sterilizer, crop duster style, across all trailer parks.

 

Now if we did this how would people like you live? Yes food grows on trees but I think city people are to lazy to work it! Wait a minute I know, we could import some more Mexicans to do the labor!

No offense Hraesvelg. I just think people blend certain groups of people in there head then make remarks. Such as in this thread. If a person said I hate the North Koreans and then put all Asians in the same basket its not fare. If I said all city people are dirty, live in the ghetto, and live off of well fare thats not fare to everyone how lives in the city. I live in WV and work in MD. I hate everything about MD! The whole state is messed up! Everyone thinks they are better than everyone else. And not to ruin the states parade but once you get west of Fredrick its just like WV. Beautiful mountians and nice people. East of Fredrick is a shzz hole! But even my last statement falls into the catagory of wrong. I know there are nice people in MD. Its not fare to put the whole state in a catagory. But think about it, thats what everyone does with rednecks, hillbillies, and white (trailer park) trash and even WV. I drive a 1995 ford aerostar van to work daily to keep miles low on my Z, has a 195,496 miles on it, go figure.

 

rednecks are everywhere, not just WV, PA or the South. But I'm willing to bet they are mostly in the South (I live in SC). If someone identifies themselves as a redneck it's no different than someone saying they're a n!gger. Same class of people, just different skin color.

Anytime I see someone in a POS lifted truck, with rebel flags all over it, acting like a complete a$$...I automatically think redneck. I refer to the nice back country folk as 'good ole boys'.. Whatever the term redneck used to stand for has changed since the WV coal miner days, it definitely does not have a positive connotation any longer. When I used to live in the "sticks," we were referred to as country boys...not rednecks (who went out and caused trouble). My point is I agree with Kurt's choice of words by calling the d bags that wrote on his car REDNECKS.
