Did you guys know this about the tempature display?
When I got to my car this morning it was very cold and I actually needed to scrape my windows to get the frost off. As I am warming up the car I look at the tempature display and it says at the bottom "ICY". Somehow it knew that it was actually icy outside, not just really cold. I'm not sure if this is helpful in anyway, but I thought it was pretty cool.
BTW Just Kidding with you... there all sorts of fail safes...
Engine shuts off it over heats so it wont warp.
Light comes on when your low on gas below 50 miles left.
Engine losses power when breaks are pressed at the same time as the gas pedals

yes those of us that have had the car since last winter noticed this feature, all of you summer guys will soon know what a PITA it is, much like the TPM, it takes you from the screen YOU choose every time you start the car, quite annoying.

Yeah, my Audi shows an ice symbol at about 40 degrees, I believe. It's places like bridges and such where you have to be careful, as they can form ice despite ambient temp being above freezing. Thermodynamics are crazy like that.
