Wishing a safe passage to our brothers from Dallas to the National convention up north ... the Z Club of Texas sent a couple members our way.

With a night of great eats and greater drink Miller Lite! we showed the guests how Nashville likes to have fun.

Sure we converse, show off each others cars, etc...

Though do you own a Z JUST to show it? HELL NO!

Starting off with a couple historic races, we had Randy's incredibly restored 240z (nearing the 300k mile marker / NEVER been rebuilt) up against Lex's Gen1 300zx (The car bought off ebay TO rag on)...

The festivities continued with Doug hoping in Carter Thompson's well prepared 240z track car. While donuts were in the agenda... CTs slip didn't allow for it. Might want to check on that!

Then to continue the winning 240z from the earlier races took on my 350Z... Road was WAYYYYYY slick so the 240 was even out of the hole. With the 350 taking the win by the end.

What do you do when a big boy steps up and starts beating ya? You bring out a BIGGER boy. Carter Thompson brings out THE BEAST. The BEAST is a custom built 240 with god knows what all under the hood. Except its NA and runs 8.5s in the 1/8th with just a NASTY lobe at idle... My Z took a trouncing. Then for a second run against THE BEAST... again Carter kills me on the launch (my mAd SKilLz were outta wack). I cut the race there, while he goes on and, BLUE LIGHTS!!!




No worries! The officer is a good friend of the shop... and the whole "Arresting" Carter was all staged! CT had NO CLUE what was going on, except... "Yes officer, I was being stupid.. here's my license". No arrests tonight CT! Just a free heart attack! (We SHOULD have that video available soon!)

What a killer night it was... did you miss it?

dang, i shoulda came to the meet since its not that far (live in knoxville). the only problem is that i totalled my cs touring on friday night (wasnt really my fault). ill post pics and info later, but i broke my collar bone and the loritabs have got me out of wack. here is a quick pic though.

It was all in how I set up the chair. Aired down the tires for grip, slipped the clutch a bit at launch, then hammered down
