So i was bored at a red light and when it turned green i decided to floor it and when i was shifting to 2nd I maybe didnt push the clutch in far enuff but i had a loud grind goin into 2nd for a second.....but its never done this before and i think i wasnt paying enuff attention. I dont have 2nd to 3rd gear grinds that a lot of u guys have and this is the first time its even grinded, i think it was me being a dumbass, but should i start to worry?....(i have 5200 miles and build date was may).....

when i first got mine i was going to shift into 3rd under hard acceleration and wooops! went into 1st.... that happend 2 times...

13000 miles later im runnin smooth...

 

ok so i guess i wont worry, also if u went into first trying to go to third wouldnt u have blown the engine???thats hardcore>????

 

well.. it was really quick.. went into first.. Tech went all the way up was maybe in gear for less then a second and then depressed the clutch again...

the rear end got totaly out of controll... as soon as i pressed in the clutch i got controll back...

happend 2 times.. didnt blow...

i dont know why my engine didnt blow...

this was rite after i got the car and wasnt used to such a short throw on the shifter...

 

You'll be fine, don't worry... this sort of thing happen sometimes when you don't pay enough attention, but it's ok

 

The second gear in this car can be quite notchy. That could have been the reason as well. Won't be surprised if that happens to me once my car is broken in and I get to have fun redlining it. Only 173 miles to go!!!

 

i was in 3rd at the track once...halfway down the track i went from 3rd to 2nd at redline ...if felt like i pulled up the e brake...
