yes, driving while tired can be very dangerous, for you and others... next time, take a power nap before fasting and furiousing...

be more careful... especially in the wet. i never push my car when its wet out. crashed my first car in the rain when i was younger, it put the fear in me...

i meant tread lol sorry about that iv noticed that the middle and inside is much more worn out that the edges yet the edges even show good wear. i think i may have another 5 to 8k miles on them. i cant wait to change these tires. right now my oem set up is 225/35 50/17 with the re040 im thinking about getting the ps2 225/45 45/17. or maybe the conticontactextrme dw in the oem size. any recomendations. again i should have been smarter in my driving and i learned my lesson. when wet slow the fu k down.
I suspect the A/T needs to be in park or neutral, and you must have pressure on your brake pedal to start the car.
Understandably you were a little rattled after doing a 180 degree spin-out, and you probably didn’t press the brake pedal when engaging your starter. Right? … Wrong?

i was going on a long turn going about 55 60 and there was a wet spot or stream going across the turn, i slow down to prob. 50 maybe 55 max. i usally can take this turn around 65 dry. i take the turn and my car skids out and tire starts burning and i end up doing a complete 180 and end up on the other side of the street. Thank g0d there was no cars and it was a wiiiiide street. but also my car comptly seemed shut up. after i was stopped comptly my throttle didnt work, and the power steering seemed disconnected. i turned off the car in drive my accidant. and then tried it didnt work. then put it in park. and tried turning it on and still wouldnt turn on. tried to turn on again and it turned on. why did this happen? i had tcs on btw. just felt like sharing also.
yeah, get some new shoes... as far as suggestions, i cant halp much, had bridgstone potenzas on the z when i bought her, now i got yokohama avid W4s. i like the W4s, but then again, havnt driven with much else soooo... look around on the forums, youll find info... search.
it wasnt raining i understand though due to driver inexperience i hadnt driven my car in the wet. just on the turn there was a small stream maybe two feet wide going across the whole turn by the time i saw it since it was night i had slowed down only 10mph. i should have slowed down more granted. i am just lucky to be here. i should be taking this **** from other members. also im thinking it could have been my tired. the stock re040 i heard r unpredicatble when wet. i know i shouldnt blame tires, driver mistake.
rear wheel drive cars will swap ends on slipery surfaces if you are on the throttle too hard around a corner.
it will also happen to a lesser degree if you arent on the throttle enough. you want to be on the throttle joust enough to prevent engine braking... of course you have an automatic so you arent going to get precise control over such things, especially if the car decides to shift at a bad time, ex. right on top of your little stream.
i used to live in NY and i was driving my 240sx and went under an overpass in the winter (with summer tires... just bought it) and got about 25 degrees sideways at 60mph... luckily i countersteered really quickly and stayed in my lane.
the soccer-mom in the van next to me was like 'wtf' im sure. she was going faster than i was and had no trouble at all lol
