Swapped the transmission and diff fluid today to get ready for my trip up to ZDayZ. Used OEM transmission fluid but the dealership only had 75w-140 oil for the diff and even though the guy told me it's what they use in all their diffs, I knew the manual called for 80w-90. I ended up going to Lowe's performance to pick up some redline 75w-90 instead. Got the chance to talk to Jeremy Lowe (professional drifter) and Mike Lowe (dad) a bit which was cool.

Still don't understand why they don't carry the recommended weight for their own vehicles? He said they've never put 80w-90 in the cars, it was always 75w-140. Doesn't seem right.

I assumed as much but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the appropriate fluid in the car either.

do you have stock exhaust or aftermarket? if stock check heat shields from cats back and if aftermarket look where the exhaust crosses the rear sway bar

Finally found someone to install ring & pinion gears so ordered the gears today. Found OEM gears at thenismoshop.com at almost $300 cheaper than the Tomei ones.

Hood looks great but I have to ask because it's been bugging me for the longest time, why not just paint the front bumper to match the rest of your car? It sticks out like a sore thumb leaving it black like that.
