A pretty penny. About $300. It included labor though, I had already sanded the parts down, but the shop smoothed out all the ribbed texture and then topped off the graphic with a tinted pearl clear coat to give it depth, glisten and a realistic CF look.

What I did for my Z today: drove it up to my dads. He was wanting to see the finished product and I knew his opinion would be an end-all-be-all. He's very particular and critical on looks and asthetic things, driving two high model Lexus'. He sat in it and loved it. I told him I wasn't sure on it, he said it looked "great" and "classy." That may have settled it a little coming from him. I'll probably let it be for a few months and enjoy the durability, then decide where to go with it after that. May sell it on this site and let someone else enjoy it. It's growing on me a little, and I definitely like the door pieces. Will definitely keep those. No more scratching and chipping!

Thought about some ideas for logos on my brakes, a white or black nissan logo or an akebono logo, any ideas?

Yeah, they are topped off with a tinted pearl clear coat. it's what makes it shiny. Gives it some depth to make it look legit.

I've looked into the hydro dipping thing and there's a company close to my area that does it. May do some of my parts. Yours look really good.

Try to color match better. The pieces I have are a little darker or blacker than the rest of the interior but the more I sit in it the better it looks. Door pieces are great.

WOW! yeah mine was about that bad too. anything above 2500 rpm would just slip. just had it replaced a week ago with the JWT Clutch/Lightweight flywheel.

it definitely took a hot minute to get used to the stiffness and engagement point on the new setup, but after about 30 minutes of driving i was used to it and i love it. feels like an entirely different car. the only thing you hear negative (other than a stiffer pedal) is that the lightweight flywheel makes some low rpm chatter. IMO it's not that bad and above 2K rpms is not noticeable

I've heard of that as well !
I hope that this dead clutch was the problem and that everything else is okay in the car ^^

I left mine at home today, trying to keep the miles off her. Not easy when you've only had the car for less then a month lol.

Those do look awesome but I think the shipping to and from Maryland would cost more than the brakes themselves for me
