This can't be correct, can it? If you check the link you will see that 7,493 yen equals $1237.96.

Spoiled her over the weekend. Cleaned her up real nice and gave it a hand wax.

Default My first post

What up people!? Had my ZR for a couple of months now but my first time on this thread. So I'll name a couple of things that I've done to it. Removed the factory radio and installed my old school Alpine tape deck. (Yes it's a cassette player lol) Sounds way better than the stock system. Changed the front speakers and made a temporary speaker pod until I can fabricate something using the factory ones. Custom made a tilt/telescopic/rotating smartphone holder inside the compartment above the radio. Installed some fog lights. Changed the shift **** to a rubber Nismo GT. Added a drift ebrake button. (Thinking about going to a hydraulic setup)

Need to do this next ↓ so I can change rear speakers and install a sub and amp.

I've been getting all the convenience mods out of the way first before I focus on performance. Plus I'm broke and have three other cars and a bike to worry about. Also got a pair of 20mm spacers, haven't decided if I should put them on the front or rear yet. Whatever I can swap in from my S14 will eventually end up on the Z. So stay tuned for my ghetto Frankenstein build.

Beautiful day in NC today, so I thought I'd get the Z out. Drove it to church. On the way home I made a left towards the back roads, to have some fun on the twisties. Come to straight away and decide to stretch her legs. Shift down to third rolling around 55 and put it to the floor. RPMs climb to about 4k and then bang, engine falls on its face. I feel a lot of pressure shoot out of the exhaust and it back fires. Something flashes on the speedo but I didn't catch it. Worst case scenarios start rushing through my head. Well, there goes $20 grand. What now? What am I gonna do? I've got it in neutral and it seems to be running ok. Hmmm, I slowly put it in 6th and just cruise for a bit looking at all my monitoring systems available to me. Everything seems to be ok. Then I look down and see I didn't turn off Traction Control. Face palm. Crisis averted!!
