What have you done for your Z today?
Debadged the Z; painted all the badges black (side badges got hit with black, and then burnt orange for the "Z"). Cleaned off all the old tape and buffed out the ghost letters.
Put most of it back on--in the rear, left the Nissan emblem and the "350" off; put the "Z" in the center to cover holes. Will be buying the larger Z to replace the small one, I think...
Replaced the driver's door handle. Removed passenger handle and painted both black before reinstallation.
Detailed/painted the engine.
Replaced the Clutch Safety Switch.
Replaced the belts.
Got new floor mats.
Ordered orange shift and e-brake boots.
Ordered a new chip from G-Force (supposed to get here today!)
Tranny and rear differential fluid came in the mail; will be doing those this week.
Deciding what I wanna do next...

Thanks ChriZTT! I wasn't a fan either at first, but it's a nice offset from your main color scheme. The tip is not to over do it and to make sure the weave is continuous on the parts. My exterior/interior has some as well but just enough to break it up.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Constructive criticism is always good. I can say I have no more intentions of doing anything else in CF. I was not a fan of that plastic or painted look. I had fun doing it, especially remaking the warning labels at work to get rid of that rainbow look, that's all that matters.
60k mile checkup at local autoshop. Wheel Alignment. Then being the idiot that I am, had a near crash moment sliding in the rain doing a 180 degree turn and then hitting a curb with the driver side rear tire. Hopefully I only need to replace the tire that punked and that there are no suspension damages. Luckily I had already scheduled to replace my old tires tomorrow.
got my front suspension and engine mounts checked by Nissan for a squeak I was hearing when going over bumps, ended up being hood related, also got a full visual inspection, the guys at Nissan told me I got a great car and everything is solid, felt pretty good
just have to go to my dealer tomorrow and have them check the belts they installed because the AC has been pretty damn loud since they touched it
then I'm taking it back into Nissan to for the recalled bose amp and fuel lines

or maybe hes too cheap to color match. obviously was too lazy to paint it properly. couldn't even mask correctly at the bare minimum. hostility comes from ricers now paying more attention to 350z/gs

He's not wrong...it looks like butt!
The end reward would be greater if you remove and put alittle more effort into it! Seeing as it would of been another 15-20 each time remove/install the manifold.
But if your willing to show it off you're obviously happy with it and that's all that matters!

Yeah, that paint job is way off. Overspray and underspray abound.
I like the thought and the initiative, but IMO doesn't quite make it.
The orange Nissan badge isn't good at all though. Sort of ricey and cheap.
Hard to beat a stock clean DE/HR engine bay.
