I was afraid of that actually. While better than straight spray painting the part like I have seen on so many Z's, and though its about as professional of a job as it could look, I agree its still a bit on the tacky side. The problem is that all the aftermarket carbon fiber solutions for the door barrels kind of suck IMO. I bought and almost installed some matte black plastic ones from factory which I think would of looked okay, better than before anyway. But also thinking about a black on grey carbon fiber hydro dip to match the real carbon fiber veneers I have on the door controls in the pic.
What have you done for your barrels, surely the original OEM ones havent held up?

I have definitely seen some better vinyls then those but same thing even though the valley of the barrel was covered it didnt cover the lip around the vent which was also scratched up on mine.
I tried the 3m CF wrap on my nav hatch lid but I am pretty sure its vinyl too and I failed at getting the creases out of the edges on my lid, I think its easier said than done to make it really look good. I wish the 370 and 350 lids were interchangeable, I really like the 370's leather lid.
Meanz, you have any pics of your hyrdo dipping results by chance? I would be interested to see.

This is a pictoral DIY dual trunk LED that I knocked out today, BOOM!
It looks OEM! The only thing is that the new LED does not sit flush. Just have to splice into the line with some solid contacts.

lololol. that's ****ing jokes. No I bought a set of OEM rims for winter and I have to reset the TPMS sensors, but have now effing time (or money to pay the dealership) so I haven't gotten around to it. And the TPMS warning light is pissing me off, so ya in a way it's a temp TPMS light delete haha, until I can reset the sensors myself.
