Washed, clay barred, waxed and sealed...all by hand...by me.

Does't feel like work when I'm doing something for the Z.

over opti gloss? OID is pretty good stuff and extremely economical.. I've been using ONR as a window cleaner lately... love that stuff

Only sealant I know of that can be applied after wax is Optimum Opti-Seal after Optimum Car wax.. it "buries" itself below the wax and bonds properly to the clear coat.

And I still thank Trav and _____________ (aww crap forgot who, YKWYA) for the ONR suggestion. I can still have clean cars here in Waterless, CA.

Neighbors still frown on me when I'm out with a bucket and a pile of microfiber. "Hey, do you see f'n hose, hunh? Do ya? Do ya see water on the ground, well do ya!? Ehhhhhh, go inside and stop being jealous I got the STUFF!!"

I actually didn't wax after. I've been using Klasse products for years...I clay bar...then use Klasse All in One and then a layer of Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. Works great and it usually lasts me 12-14 months. Here's some info about it in case you want to check it out.

thanks for the link, I prefer coatings... I was just stating if you Waxed then sealed, that was the wrong order.

AIO paint cleaners do help clean the paint quite well... one thing you may want to try next time, before claying, use some Ironx. On white paint it is a very noticeable result of dissolving fallout, iron particles etc... plus will make your claying more effective and easier.

Amazing what fallout cleaners do for baked in brake dust on wheels!! Of course your wheels, mine, and many others on here don't let them get bad enough to need that.

i havent done mine yet, it is on the hit list but i noticed my rear ones getting kinda rough. i plan on sealing the wheels with something, but then you have to let it fully cure so you dont get brake crap all in them. also have the black restore stuff i need to do on the trim pieces, guess i could do that while waiting on the wheels.

what trim restorer did you get? clean them wheels and opti gloss (if you have some left) them put back on and by the time you do the trim and clean up you should be good!
