Your chain rigging skillz... Big brass ones... Why would you have a link in the hook? And your chain is kinked you cray cray
chain is good for 2900 lbs got it at home depot.
engine + tranny weight = ~600 lbs....???
color I am looking for my engine bay is simple stainless steel hoses and generally black hoses with a bit of red valve covers tossed in their want it to look similar to the Ferrari or Maserati engine look. give it some character looks like an animals heart......then give it some crazy rich tune for huge backfire flames on 2 step
I attached a sample photo of a 350z engine from google except mines is wrinkled with red and the front timing cover is black.......
I might paint my all my turbo piping with wrinkle black....but too lazy....

I would be scared to wheel your picker away from the car with the chain link right on the top of that hook. Doesn't matter what the chain or hook is rated at, if it slipped off the top of the hook its going down... Also the hooks rating is taken at the meaty center section of the hook. The tip isnt rated for anything because its not designed to hold weight...
But hey it worked out fine so all good. Just trying to prevent a disaster in the future.. Like when your freshly rebuilt motor goes back in... Get the chain into the hook.
Got a 8 inch tablet a few months ago so decided to try and replace the 7 inch tablet I had in my car. Not anywhere close to professional work but it turned out ok.
