Are you really buying grill mods from a 4x4 site?

Had to beat the incoming rain to wash dis shid off....

Angry birds whose dinner didn't sit well with 'em.

But played musical wheels today...

Went out on a test run then adjusted my shocks for the "new" wheels. Frankly though, the now "resting" LMZ5s were sooooo much better with less jounce and rebound they let me run. Fehhhh....

Oh well, at least I got these off both cars....

Oh, and back to OEM for da Niz...

Was hoping to drop it off for consignment this weekend but noooooo.... the inbound rain had something to say about that. Guess it'll have to wait until El Nino peters out. No rush....

Hmm I think I like the LMZ5s on the z better, aren't they lighter anyways? Man I'm gonna be so sad seeing you letting go of your nismo, it was in such good hands.
dang pigeons time to get a bb gun and start target practicing

The LMZ5s are indeed the "ideal" setup for my car - of all my various setups the car has seen - and with the shock adjustability factored in, it makes them even better. Only ones as lively as the LMZ5s are my Track V.1s.

As soon as I put the Volks on, I could tell within a block that I needed to adjust and now it's back to harsh setting to control the extra 4-8lbs at each corner. You can bet I'm going back to S-Tune wheels next change-around. Laff.... They were OK on the Nismo due to the fact that the Nismo OEM wheels are roughly the same weight as the Volks and the suspension accommodated them fine.

On the For-Sale-Niz.... well, if I don't get a serious buyer for it, I'll just keep it. I've already got space for it in another garage so that's not a concern. I'll give the consignment/show lot a try and if that's a no-go, well.....

BB gun.... nein. Might hit my car.

What size and which gasket?

I have a bunch of Vibrants sitting in my tool box if you need it. I didn't use any of 'em when I installed my system. I think I have a 3"....if you're talking about the Y-pipe aft end-to-midpipe.

Track V.1s - painted in Pressed Espresso for T'bo - are about as light as yer gonna get from the factory.... and at a reasonable price. Only 17-some forged pounds/wheel.

Cant be an amateur wheel collector without some 17s 18s and 19s in that collection. No 20s unless you have a truck with some 33s or bigger on their.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, thought the topic was "light wheels" since Mike wanted to shed a few lbs.

Now I find out it's "which 17s to buy?"

My question: Why?

Although Mistuh Sparco's suggestion of a 17x10 RPF1 sounds interesting...

Im 90% sure mike wants the lightest possible.

As for light 17s rpf1 seems like the best option. Decently cheap too.

Or you could source used te37s in 17s or ce28. They pop up on instagram once in awhile for decent pricing.
