Got home. Installed Exhaust. Lots of driving.

As much as I want swift springs, I really just want to do Koni or Bilstien shocks and the rest of the mods allowed (pads, one sway bar) to race in stock class.

Well, as a grand experiment, I'm going to run the S-Tune springs I just got on the Nismo shocks I picked up from a local good guy (fellow my350Z member) recently.

I love them on my Niz but thought I'd give 'em a shot on my '03 with a little more spring just for the halibut. Not likely to sell my Koni/Eibach set up though. After I play with the Nismos, will likely revert back and then have to find another car to put 'em on. Laff....

Mic, I’m interested in your opinion on the S-Tune springs. I believe they drop your car about ½ inch and provide a slightly softer ride than stock. I think they are very similar to the Tein S-Tech springs I put on my car.

Nismo shocks sound expensive

What is another good shock you would recommend for my track toy?

Spike, you KNOW I'll report on 'em.... can't shut me up whilst yakkin' up my favorite hobby! Laff!

But right now, will probably put that on hold for a bit. Working on a work project that's giving me fits! Not on difficulty, on client wish-washness.... "Make up your mind already!!"

But who cares if they're paying me....

HR, price is relative. I got them as part of a package deal... they're 25k mile take offs so the wallet bite wasn't bad. Springs were inexpensive. Shipping from Japan was like a shark bite though. As much as the springs themselves. (But there were other bits in the box too.... )

I insulated my trunk and underneath the woofer today with FATMAT sound barrier.
I will be doing under the glove compartment and the doors in the near future.

If you want to sell something on here you need to make a for sale thread following the marketplace rules.

Clutch was starting to slip a little on my '05 on my way back to work from lunch, so I ordered her the JWT clutch/flywheel combo

For those of you with the DE, did you replace the slave when you replaced your clutch? I upgraded the master last year with the Zspeed Wilwood kit when I was having clutch pedal drop issues. I know the overall consensus is to change the slave with clutch on the 07-08 since you have to drop the tranny to do it - just curious if I should do it at the same time on my '05.

Looking forward to doing this on jackstands in my garage...
