This is what I did whenever my D2s started leaking. They lasted 50k miles, so I can't be too disappointed with the D2s.
That being said, did you get the GT or the SP? I've not met anyone else who has the SP yet haha.
Got SPs too. My K-Sports may have lasted about a year before they started bleeding...been too long so I can't remember. I know it wasn't very long though. Unfortunately I gave the old springs and mounts away when I sold the car last time so I had to find some others on ebay earlier.
Well totally feel like I just lost an mma fight.... Cars going to be sitting vulnerable outside for a few days hope no hooligans come and push it over.
I need to find some new bolts for that kidney looking brace that attaches to the front of the subframe, by some miraculous act they didnt break on the way out, but one was deff on the verge.
Subframe bushings, put whiteline bushings in subframe and differential... Trying to clean up as I go buy i run out pf daylight and energy after 11 hours...
I got the subframe back in with the new bushings, and have my wheels back on but I need to take it all back apart on Saturday to put my brakes back on...
Along with putting suspension back on, then the differential and driveshaft and axles... It might be driveable again next week sometime...

Nice! I thankfully still had my spring buckets from before I put my D2s on... super lucky haha.
The quality of these coilovers - outstanding. I'm super pleased so far, and they're magnificent on spirited drives. Not to mention that they're beautiful. I love getting under the car and seeing the gold sleeves and white springs haha
I will give you a bit of a warning, they are REALLY stiff for street driving. I hope that you're tracking the car to get the full benefit of the coilovers. The only small issue I've had is that my passenger rear top nut will back itself off every once in a while, but not too hard to fix - you can fix it from the top of the strut brace.
I'll finally be hitting the track late next month to see how they handle on the track.

Ok so I got some 8.8 grade bolts for my kidney shaped braces that attach to the rear subframe... I wish I could have found some grade 8 bolts but anything should be an improvement...
I was a bit scared to re-use what I took out.
Im going to double up on the washers and hopefully they are happy.

That's looks like salt air oxidation!! I live in CO now and fortunately don't have any real issues with corrosion..... as long as you under spray regularly in the winter from road treatment.
But I grew up on the Texas coastline and man have I seen some cars get eaten inside out!!!
Yeah they use lots of salt when it snows here... And apparently the original owner must have loved driving in it.
Apparently 8.8 is about equivalent to a grade 5 bolt so they should do the trick. Hopefully theirs room for the extra length, ive had trouble fitting big bolts into tight spaces before.

Planning on doing some track work eventually, but for now I want to get it at least driveable without it bouncing like a cut-spring Civic...did some weight reduction today...
My best friend lives in Kennesaw and we usually roll a bit to Blood Mountain, make our way to Helen for lunch, then do a few laps on the local roads there and head back. I'm going to forward this route to him and we're gonna give it a try!
The drive to Atlanta from Orlando is boring, but the end results are so worth it! If you see my car chasing a 2013 Audi TTRS, that's us!
Also, after some heavy reading, I'm thinking of the Michelin PSS in 245/40 and 275/35 for the Nismo wheels.
I love that area, I hiked to the peak of Blood mountain and wound up in Helen at the end of the trip. What a strange place Helen is. lol.
Hahaha I always think about doing a wire tuck. And everytime I do I start routing and mapping the wires and am like f that I'm already over it and just forget about it lol
I've d.ump(Ed) that plan so many time but finally got myself ahead enough I was at point of no return but to keep going....stopped for a bit due to work but wrapping it as we speak.... Maybe ill post some pics tomorrow... Notice firewall was repainted also, you can still see silver inside the battery atea but fck it...messing with guess and all that crap is another d.ump and tedious project for some other time...
Cleaning up and putting back together, got brakes back on.. Hopefully the emergency brake still works... Got suspension back on (lowered an extra 1/4 inch hopefully) and cleaning up some ugly.
Its back together just need to put the diff back in and probably half the exhaust, then ill be able to hopefully drive it for a few days before I rip it apart again..
Keeping it on jack stands and boards till its all together, somehow the weight is happily resting on a little bit of jack Jack stand and a little bit of suspension.
It will be interesting to see if my emergency brake still works... I kinda guestimated the adjuster.
