I did weigh most of it, and theirs a noticeable difference. Everything is actually rather light weight but it adds up. I lost at least a trunk passenger back their...
I wish I didn't make a noticeable difference it would be easier to put my amp and subwoofer back in.
I also started ripping out unused wiring harnesses, and cleaning up unplugged crappola like the navigation harness that goes from the passenger side dash all the way to the back, and the harnesses that used to plug into the blowse amp.
But I'm super hit or miss on debadging the 2014+ body
It either looks really good or really ghetto. At least the plastidip isn't perm and I've always wanted to try it and see what all the fuss is about.
I'm thinking of doing the front grill or just buying a flt blk one. Im not big on chrome.
Dip has its place. Maybe not as permanent coloration (or maybe so for some applications) but great to see what something looks like before committing to permanent - say, paint, powder, or even wrap - changes.
I did that with a wheel once just to see if I liked gunmetal over silver, way back when. Glad I did that.... hated the dark for that car. Had it media blasted before I powdered them in good ol' Hyper Silver.
Well today I changed the transmission fluid to some redline mt 85... Their looked to be much more than 3 qts that I took out.. (flued came pouring out as soon as I removed the fill plug so that was awesome)
I managed to get about 3 1/4 qts in before it started leaking out again... It was actually kinda a PITA from my back pumping in the oil... I had to transfer the oil from the redline bottles to a empty lucas bottle for my pump to screw into the top but it worked... Hopefully it's happy.
Then I spent like an hour looking for the new battery terminals I was planning on installing, but they apparently grew some legs and walked away...
So I cleaned up my terminals and added a ground wire, and ran a new power wire from the battery to my head unit...
Im a little surprised at how my ground is only one wire going to the chassis... I'll probably add some jumpers, although I guess it works fine as is...
