You've got me curious; why are you going to increase the size on the strut bolt holes?
The Motordyne plemun spacer kit comes with strut spacers and longer M10 high strength bolts. I have an early 2003 so the oem bolts are M8 and can only get a couple threads started with the spacers installed.
Ahh... okay. That makes sense. My '08 HR doesn't need the plenum spacer, so it never occurred to me that you'd need to enlarge the bolt holes for the struts. Good luck with the tap job
My whole bottom end's getting upgraded over the next week, so I'm going to be dealing with the front struts as well.
Tires are nearly done(all 4) lol running stock sizes, Front 225/50/17 Rear 235/50/17 was thinking running stock fronts and Rear 245/50/17? Or maybe 255’s if they fit the rears any take on this is nice, thanks.

Just look on craigslist or the marketplace people are always selling wheels with tires for a good price... Best time for upgrading. Stock 17s are almost as bad as the stock touring wheels.

Nice. I'm not a fan of Short Throw Shift Kits, had bad experience with B&M (screw came loose at the linkage and was stuck in 6th gear), shifting was also more knochy. But glad this brand is working for u.
Last Friday I got my car back from the shop where my diff bushing, subframe collar, and valve cover gasket replaced. I must say WOW! I haven't felt my car drive like that in over 10 years... and I still have the front knuckle bushings to replace, which I will be doing in a couple of weeks. As soon as I got on the gas I can feel that my car was being properly balanced by the bushing I am very impressed and definitely suggest any Z owners to get this done if they are still on stock bushings.
Now for the bad news. After driving it in the canyons I found a nail in the tire.
Oh well, I'm getting it replaced under insurance and at least I got a chance to properly clean the wheel.

Today was all about winter driving prep as i live in upstate New York and we have crumbling infrastructure and harsh winters.
ordered 5 Blizzak WS80 tires (5th is spare) Since i will be daily driving all year round. I dont drive too far and pretty flat/straight roads to and from my commute to work.
Purchased 50 pounds of sand to place in spare tire compartment for weight and if i get stuck, as well as a small shovel, flares, blankets, and battery jumper pack with 12v outlets, flashing lights and usb plug so im never stranded without juice and a dead phone -etc for emergency situations.
Replaced Brake fluid, radiator flush, Oil & filter change, changed diff fluid and installed poly bushings on trans mounts and engine mounts as well as suspension bushings.
Getting the underside coated later today before the salt piles up on the road.
No pics, i do everything myself with no garage and its too cold today to stop and take pics throughout the process.
Well today I have gotten all my interior put back together after sanding, painting and getting some other things done. Wrapped rear strut bar cover in black suede, custom Z logo embroidered to match OEM look.
i love this. got me thinking about cutting the Z out and adding Color changing LED's
Finished drilling and tapping for the upper strut mount bolts for the Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer mod - Went from M8 to M10.
Got through all six using only one bit and one tap. Sadly my Harbor Freight tap wrench only made it through 5 1/2 and I had to go buy another $10 set to finish the last couple threads on #6...
Only issue after the short shifter and plenum spacer install is I’ve got the shifter rattle at WOT.
