Started on a project I've been putting off for a while.
Found a crushed rear camber tab on the alum subframe 4 months ago while installing my diff. I didnt install the rear Spl solid diff mount bc of the tab.
Picked up a good replacement frame for $75 off craigslist and got energy suspension bushings for everything in the rear. Installed Spl solid mount and ES subframe mounts in replacement frame yesterday.
Got all the way up to the main subframe 19mm stud nuts off to do the swap out but realized I don't have a deep enough 19mm socket.

Turned in my man card after a week with solid bushings. I loved everything but how loud the interior became.

Thanks to a member on here I still have the solid diff bushings, but now have poly subframe bushings for a much better dd experience.

Then, enjoyed the car on a nice back road Sunday drive.

Interesting, so did the front to "ear" bushings go poly, leaving the rear diff bushing solid?
I need to replace my rear bushing as it's split, are the poly's good for quietening it down?

I still have the SPL solids in the front ears as well as the rear pumpkin mount. i just removed the Sikky subframe bushings.
There's still noise, but I think the Nismo diff is the major player in that.
I can at least have a normal conversation in the car right now, without screaming at each other. I think an exhaust would cover up the rest of what I'm hearing.
White line makes Poly diff bushings now for the ears and the rear which should be quite a bit quieter than solid.

but sometimes get's done
I'm probably going to pick up the whiteline bushings, but is there much point in replacing the 'ears' as they're not fluid filled? It'd keep it quieter if i left in the stock, i'm guessing?

If I were to go poly diff mounts i'd go for the Energy Suspension set but I went with SPL solid diff mounts and E.S. subframe mounts.
