Finally brought the ZR to it's new home from Z1 for Vortech V3 used kit install. Very glad I let them do it. Bought a new house and no FI trouble shooting experience. Jon told me they fried 2 ECUs and 1 throttle body, came out with only a Performance map for now. Completely different car at 418. Upgraded diff had me correcting after shift to 2nd with MPSSs.
Continued with getting this thing setup, ran the harnesses for widebands in a heat sleeve.
Installed MAP sensor and wired it up.
Got the MAP sensor to read correctly, still working on AFR as I am only getting one readout. Will check later to see if I missed anything otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday and see if Zeitronix can help me with that.

Installed the OKD coils and drove the car for the first time this year. Interesting enough the car hit a few instances of positive pressure in the manifold at WOT. That means the Velocity/NWP/Injen combo are flowing a good amount with little to no restrictions
Additionaly, I finally got my new Recaro SPG Profis seat cover... now I'm wondering how to replace it. As I'm suspecting I will be needing some kind of glue...?

Past weekend was the first HPDE of this season for me. I've done a few things since mainly for track purposes, was good to shake it down and see how the car feels. 2nd session out and I was on par with last season's PR at Canaan Motor Club in NH. Gives me confidence that I can shave off a lot more time this season. Had 2 Z friends with me (z33 and Z34). We were logging coolant temps and with my fresh coolant and new CSF radiator with AC condenser removed I was seeing ~25-30 deg cooler temps than him

-CSF radiator / AC condensor/compressor removal
I cleaned up the inside of my wheels, they were so black it was looking bad. Not perfect now but a lot better. The outside of the wheels isn't done properly yet, I am doing a big cleanup of the car this week-end, including clay bar, polish and wax.

Replaced both cam sensors, drove around a bit and added some fresh fuel. Managed slam my face against the CF hood (not fun) at least the drive was lol. Running pretty rich at about 11:1 @ WOT. Need to get a better tune soon.

I finished up my Spring prep of the Z (exhaust, belts, plugs, air filter, shocks/springs and some bushings) and will put it officially on the road after the 2-Jul insurance changes kick-in here in MI. The last thing I did was make some "good enough from 10ft. away" touch-ups on some rust spots. It is running and sounding good, and it will be great to have it back on the road! ... Not that there's much driving to do, as I'm still working from home.

I know, I know. But my toys have to wait while I repair everyone else's. I had to clear through an engine swap (son's Equinox), transmission repair (in-law's Intrepid), and upper spring seat replacements (wife's Volvo) before I could start on the Z. And then I kept finding stuff to put right on the Z in order to finish everything properly. So then starts the ordering of additional parts, and COVID shipping delays, etc., etc.
But that is all done, and the Z is ready! I am already compiling my list for next winter's maintenance needs...
Not very exciting but the Z would throw a code for a coil pack every once and while. Didn't say which one. So I finally replaced all plus the spark plugs.
Engine is not much a looker with all the plastic and intake off eh? A little tight but do-able. Car runs much better now. I bet the other coil packs were marginal and plugs looked older as well.
