Try cockpit premium, I'll never use anything else, smells amazing, no residue and no extra shine. Just looks brand new!
I was actually thinking of switching the protectant to 303. It's one of the highest recommended, plus I've seen Detail Geek on YouTube use it and it looks great! Meguiars Ultimate Protectant actually leaves a little residue, but it also leaves a clean satin finish that i like

Look up a review of the two being compared, they are VERY similar but from what I saw I was more interested in the premium. I've been using it for 5+ years and won't ever change, smells nice and clean.
Installed some O2 spacer, L-shaped one for A/T, very tight fit with the big A/T oil pan. So I went from two codes being too rich on both bank, and now I'm running too lean only on Bank 2. Bank 1 is good.
Granted I used both washers on the passenger side only to adjust the position. Is the passenger side, the Bank 2?
Have smog in 7 days. I want to try to remove the washers and if need be, enlarge the holes on the L-shaped O2 spacer with a drill bit on Bank 2. Any other ideas?
Installed new Hitachi crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Also, adjusted the tension on the main accessory drive belt (I had recently replaced it) as it was chirping a little at start up. The Z started up just fine and ran great on a 10mile shakedown run.
@ zwei_the_cIf I were you, I would the remove the foulers the day of the smog. Those extensions are considered "tampered," in California if the smog guy sees it.

True, you have a point. But most of these smog guys are fairly lazy and aren’t going to lift the car up.
I still have trouble getting it to work and another random issue has arise.
My hatch has been unlatching itself for the past 48 hours. Today, I left my FOB at home and everything was good til’ lunch break, I came to my car and noticed the hatch has unlatched itself while I was at work...
Thinking bad ground, bad relay or worst case scenario is a bad BCM.
Looking forward to seeing the next custom enclosure!
think the plan is to use the same box, just recut the hole, and add a little mdf ring... Hopefully It fits..
I am swapping the polk MM10 with a Alpine type S 12... I haven't really loved the polk, I've been somewhat missing that Rockford P1 that I had previously, however I haven't completely given up on the polk... Going to put together a new box for it, and stick it in the Honda element...
here is my plan for the polk... In the honda, in a big *** box.
I'm sure someone will be happy with that old DE your replacing. I guess when your car is already at that level upgrades get extreme. Hope the swapping goes smoothly...
During a visit to IL this weekend to see family, I spent some time gathering parts from local sellers there. I was able to score another large glovebox door, cubby and associated hardware to fit another glovebox behind my driver's seat. I also got rust-free brake shields for the front, and a number of the metal spash shields in the rear corners (they sit inside what the bumper cover contains). I also grabbed the last rear underbody brace (that connects the rear subframe's two rear mounting bolts), as mine is pretty rusted. Oh, and the exhaust hanger mounts to the body (again, mine are functional, but rusty) and the trunk interior corner carpet/cover pieces, as I had a mouse devour the sound insulation on the backs of mine. Not a bad score for the weekend!
Can I say, in the spirit of Eric Cartman: to the guys that live in rust-free areas, "I hate you guys!" The 350Z roadster I pulled the underbody parts from was wrecked, but had led a sheltered life. I was able to break loose all the necessary bolts to get to these parts without ANY issues. I know I would have had to break out a torch or would have snapped off a few heads to remove most of these same bolts on my car! Ugh.
Placed an order for a pair of brand new OEM valve covers for the Z through CZP. Should have done so sooner since the oil is leaking into the spark plug wells, causing me P0302. Misfire in Cylinder #2, which is exactly where I see it.
Car is down for now to avoid any engine damage. Now time to rent out a car off of Turo...
