Treated myself to the legendary Powerhouse Amuse R1 Titan Exhaust with its R1 Titan y-pipe partner.

Should arrive in first week of 2021. Off to a great start!

Hey everyone, so I don’t post often but I’d like to get more involved in this forum. I bought a few goodies for the car and just had the opportunity to install them. I picked up a shift **** from a 50th Anniversary 370 to match my Recaros and I love it. I also picked up a cluster from an 08 Nismo and I love the look. I have a few more mods in the works but I’ll post them as I install them.

Yes, the mileage is correct lol

Is there anything else I might be missing that you guys can think of to get my car back to road-worthy conditions? I'd like to minimize any potential damage to internals from it sitting so long. I'll be sending an oil sample to Blackstone for analysis as well.
Welcome back to the fold. Only thing you should probably add to the fluids list: brake and clutch (if applicable) fluids. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and water and hydraulic fluids don’t mix well.

Have fun! My car sat on/off since pandemic started but have been driving it last couple of weeks. The joy is back (for the most part)! And it’s only been 8-9 months!

Interesting shift ****, I don't think I would ditch my TK **** for it though. Once you go weighted nothing else feels right.
BTW, how did you get your mileage set on the new cluster?

I do have to get to my next batch of mods soon, Stillen shifter, Nismo calipers, and Z1 rotors. Considering cooling ducts but we'll see.

I warmed up the z today for a few minutes. Just sits there all winter long. Had the hood popped and noticed my strut bar has been rubbing on my hood. Took the week off from work so I will probably mess around and adjust it.

Also test fitted some new CF mirror caps I bought from a vendor on instagram. They actually fit very well which was a nice surprise.

And lastly I ordered a Mishimoto oil catch can from czp.

@DarkZ03 there's a vendor on ebay named Odometer Solutions that does it for $70. They're located by Miami and you ship them the cluster.

Picked something up to treat myself for my birthday and Christmas together. Arrived on the 31st of December. I been grinning all day about it!

Going to install soon, remove old set-up and polish my Stillen & Tanabe combo up for sale.

if anyone has questions about them, ask me now.

Lightbulb Swapped Headlight Housing Lenses

https://www.**********.com/cdn-cgi/i...532-jpg.53265/

Hours of labor from 6:30PM delivery on and on of prying oxybutl headlight glue with Heat gun and disassembly to reassembly to finish time of 5:30AM

All I wanted were the lenses (housing), so I shopped amazon for the 2003 HID Taiwan pair (OEM was Japan) and used the guide on my350z.com in the headlight DIY section.

Nice, always wanted to get one of those back in the day. Something felt weird about giving up the Z in the middle lol

So the DE lens fit on the HR housing like a glove then? I need to do mine. But seems a lot of work, but how's the seal? That's the real question.

The lenses by themselves are interchangeable among all years irrespective of the DE or HR.

It's easier if you have a tool like this to split them apart. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 mins per light.

When resealing, just make sure you clean out all the old butyl rubber sealant really well and apply new sealant to ensure an airtight fit.

You can pick up both that tool and new butyl rubber glue on TRS.

the seal needs to be reapplied on the passenger side (first one I ever done). the driver's side was perfect.

Hey - no shame in that! I remember my first headlight retrofit project. It seemed like a mess and it took me forever. I also had to go back and redo the seals with the butyl rubber. As with most things, it always gets easier and faster with each time.

Cool New Year - New Hood - New Look

I recently lucked out on FB Marketplace and snagged a color-matching HR Hood. Trying to use it as a bargaining chip for a CF hood so we'll see how that goes...

Sometimes I just want to roll around like this.
