A member PMed about the Nissan cover on my car in my 11/12 post. It came with the car when I bought it a few years ago so I don't know where it came from. I assume from Nissan direct.
Anyone have knowledge on where to buy one to help him out?

Not sure if you can still find one new since it has probably long been discontinued, but I think the Nissan part number is 999N2-ZP000
Expecting big rain in the next week so I polished and waxed the Z. Then I took the roadster out, hit it with some quick detail on the areas not covered while inside (forward edge of front fenders, haha) and took it for a top down ride (with a jacket on!) then tucked it back inside the warm garage and put the blankey back on it.
It's that time of year! When Mic monkeys with his photo editor! Haha.
Decided to give my z some attention after 2 years of neglect.
Swapping out front Brembos (only had fronts) to F/R Akebonos. Can't decide on powder coat color for calipers. Thinking of getting Wavespec rotors to complete the upgrade.
Peeled off wrap, wrapping it a new color once the weather clears up.
Was gonna ask why gain weight but it you only had the front I guess it's whatever. I wouldn't go Akebonos over Brembos.
The Akebono rotors/swept area is much larger than Brembo. 1.25" larger rotor. (Hence, more unsprung weight.)
Pretty sure I went on record here somewhere about my feelings about all three, standard, Brembo, Akebono. Brembo and Akebono much better modulation and ultimate stopping than standard (I should hope so), The edge between Akebono and Brembo - if I could actually give one - would be that the Akebono has the overall better "butt dyno" feel but honestly, if I already had Brembo, wouldn't change 'em out for the Z34 Sport brakes. Not enough of an upgrade to justify the price, IMO.
I think Mistuh Sparco should save the money and instead fly up here and wrap my car that amazing blue that yours was.

I believe we have talked about it yes, I think for most it's a visual up grade, I do get that aspect but if someone said they are "upgrading" from Brembos to Akebonos I'd think they are crazy. Weight is crazy and one thing I didn't know it can help with is traction and grip, if it's a car that sees a lot if track action then I'd understand.
I think that Datsun would look killer in that color!

I never drive the car so not like weight really matters. I just get sad each morning seeing the mismatched calipers. BTW love your Stoptech Nismo brakes.

Too late, spent the money, already have the breaks. I went with remanufactured calipers so the cost was under $700 with new rotors and pads. Amzn is the best. lol
Thanks! Yeah I completely understand that, I refused to buy the fronts until a matching rear was offered wasn't taking the chance of them changing their mind lol.
Nothing exciting, but changed out my oil pressure sensor after going into a total panic watching my gauge peg on the way to work the other morning. I slept really well afterwards. Lol.
Haven't done this much work to my Z in a long while. Finishing up the new wrap and installed Akebono brakes. Still need to replace the clutch master & slave cylinders.

two 350Z Mods: Oil Filter Relocation & Throttle Body Spacers
First off the Throttle body spacers on eBay are great quality and seem to add an inch of spacing b/w the two throttle bodies.
Takes time to install if you have a radiator support brace and strut tower brace. Of course, for the VQ35HR, engine.
My setup has Stillen stage three long tube intakes, some gold thermal tape and two fuel saver inserts (tornados'). I'm not sure if they make them any more.
Then, I sourced an oil filter relocation kit. Bought some lines.
I was going to complete this relocation kit on my last oil change, but better luck on my next oil change. Since this kit had limited parts, I had to google some longer brackets and shell out addt'l for a matching return oil line that would reach the oil filter.
Still need add'tl 90 degree 8an elbows for the new oil filter location; behind the driver's headlight. I just want it easier access and right side up for less mess, hahaha.
