Seemed silly not to take advantage of it. I had no desire to swap out the factory strut bar, but for the money, why not

Yeah, I have a 2009 Cobalt SS now. The Cobalt SS FB group posted the sale and they sold out the strut bars in about 4 hours.

Ah, I stand corrected. Probably all the more reason why I never see the S/C ones anymore loved the whine of that supercharger.

I had an '05 Mini JCW that was supercharged. It sounded cool. This is faster.

Ah, yes, "Donut Point", always a perennial stop on a 9/35 run.

Heading up the hill later today to pick up 3 "club samples" from Fogarty Winery.

few minor things I did to the Z this past weekend.

First up was getting the OEM shift **** back on there. I had this Nismo aluminum **** that got extremely hot. Looked ok but wanted to get the OG look back. Came up on this OEM shift **** for $50

Then as we all know cup holders on the Z are not all that great as far as location... at least for me. So I seen this mod on here from another member and decided to give it a go.
Had to do some trimming under the center console to get this spun aluminum cup holder in there. Not quite in a desireable location but works much better for me. Yes I had to cut/trim the center console but thats why I sourced another used one online only to do this so if i want to go back to my original one I can always slap it back on.

Decided to wrap the B pillars with some 3M CB vinyl

I like the way that wrap turned out! It's a nice touch for the B-pillars.

thanks. Its an easy mod and cheap. First time wrapping anything in vinyl so had some issues with air bubbles but got rid of most of them. Looking to wrap a few more things in the interior. Small stuff just to give it a nice touch.

Here's my new-to-me 350z. 2005 base model with 95k on the clock.

The previous owner had done some very tasteful mods and had it tuned at SoHo in Charlotte.

I drove almost a thousand miles with my Z between round-trips to hand-off (Friday) and then pick up (today) a distant cousin from Germany who is visiting us and also visited with family in IL this weekend.

400+ mile tanks on average, making 27.6 mpg at 68mph averages - nice! And rolled thru 158k on the odometer, too 😁

Saw that car on marketplace! Could tell it was taken care of and tastefully done. I considered making an offer before I found the 07 I just bought.

Put my bumper back on losely, just to see it all together for a moment.... took car off jacks, I installed new oem tweeter area plastic w no broken tabs, fresh coat of trim paint and a carbon stick on to cover up the tweeter hole.. Easiest way to get that little section handled.. Sue me lol.

Fixed the lift of the new Alcantara on the door handle..grr...
Finally actually bolted the door panels and handles on fully... After four years of temporary hang.

Sometimes it feels/looks like a car again.. Yet only briefly.

(yes, I fixed this)

Finally made a shifter adapter from the Ford Mustang Tremec xl trans /shifter... Back to this Nissan shifter I had previously.

Final result is perfection, to me... I'm Stoked how it turned out.. The shifts have zero slop, perfectly rigid locating spring tension.

Yes I do! Got the double wall black tip version during their Labor Day sale. It’s beautiful! Sounds great. It’s actually a little louder than I anticipated.
