Kbd front bumper not looking right? Any suggestions?
I have t
I Have the darker of the two z’s above, they both have the same kit, but my bumper height is wayyyyy different in height, any suggestions on how to get it looking right, preferably at the same level as the skirts. It could just be a defect bumper but I’ve tried everything to get it lower and am out of ideas
Well, the Z in the second picture is slammed on the ground with likely air suspension, so that's what the front lip is basically scraping the pavement.
Otherwise, probably two different bumpers. Similar, but not identical.

yeah, the bottom one is on bags and is raised up in the pic, same bumpers tho, thinking mine is just shrunken and defective at this point
Your bumper also has front splitter support rods attached and the bottom one does not. You may have installed them in a way that pulls the splitter upwards.
I don't really see any noticeable large gaps in the lines where the bumper meets the fender and hood, so I don't think it's misshaped. That would be one of the obvious signs of a defective or poor fitting front bumper.
Over the last few days, I replaced the Camshaft Position sensors, VCT solenoid, Z-1 high energy coil packs, Mitzone valve covers, NGK plugs, Z-1 plenum spacer, and I painted my upper plenum. My wallet hurts, but it looks a lot better.
was a victim of the worst three point turn I've ever seen! Caught in hi Def though, recieved $4k outside of insurance. Used KH3 door from Sac City Auto Parts for a couple hundred? Or should I use this as an excuse to go CF doors in my journey to reach sub 3000 lbs?
I would stick with the factory doors. I would be worried about the CF replacements having enough reinforcement to support the speakers and other goodies (like door hands, window regulator, etc.). I'm under the impression CF doors are for racing applications, so they may not have all the support for standard features. But maybe I'm wrong, I haven't really looked at CF doors closely before.

I just did the 370Z axle/bearing upgrade. This was an unplanned upgrade, what kicked it off was the failure of the right rear wheel bearing. I'm glad to know it was only a wheel bearing and not something related to my differential, it was difficult to pinpoint the source of the noise I was hearing since it only became audible at high speeds (60mph+).
Details on the upgrade can be found in THIS other forum thread.
Cheers!

they have absolutely no bracing and are a fiberglass door with a single layer of cf cloth as the door skin.
Bro! How did I not know about this ZorkZ splinter group???
This was the first one after ZdayZ decided to relocate to Blowing Rock. It was a great turnout and Fontana has made some great renovations. I'm willing to bet the attendance is going to double or triple next year.

Good to know! I love the Fontana venue. It's uhh, interesting it's the same weekend as ZdayZ and the not-so-subtle digs on the FB page, haha.
I'll try and make it out next year so we can carve up some twisties (318 in 11 miles, to be exact) together! I'll just have fun trying to keep up with your beast.
