Blizzaks/Sandbags do the trick.... I was concerned like all other newbies, but I've had no issues since I've put them on as long as there is no more than 6inches of snow on the ground
The Blizzaks are your best choice. They probably cost more than what the piece of crap Civic that bgood is trying to sell, but now you have a fun car to drive all winter instead of that miserable Civic.
I used to drive my Z in the winter and it's possible, but not fun, . That's why I bought a Jeep Cherokee for cheap.
I was thinking the same way, and bought a Jeep Commander for winter driving.
Well crap… after driving around in this truck, I was desperate for the great drive my Z provides.
I put studless snows on the Z, and I’m using this for my DD. My “winter” vehicle (the Jeep) is now parked for the winter (maybe forever or used only for occasional use).
