Default Milwaukee deliveries

Any of you out there from the Milwaukee area? I've heard a couple dealerships expecting their first orders in this last week, but have seen nothing, although a friend reports having seen a Z on the road in our area recently! My dealership isn't great at getting back to me quickly, so I thought I'd ask where I was sure to get a response!

Still waiting on a VIN and/or delivery date!

Hey Driven,
Nice to see someone else from the Area in here. I actually live North of Milwaukee in the Fox Valley. I talked to John Kitts at Wilde Nissan just North of Milwaukee in Waukesha and he told me they've had a couple through already. I haven't seen one from their dealership yet because it's 90 miles away for me. However I did get to see one in Green Bay, so our state has got some, and more are on the way in the beginning of September. Give John at Wilde Nissan a call and he'll call you when they get one in. I plan to take a gander at a Daytona Blue coming in mid September.

That Daytona Blue at Wilde in Mid September would be mine! If you want to see this car please contact me directly, I am not opposed to this as long as I am present. I intend to have a talk with Wilde this morning regarding using my car as any sort of display vehicle; this is something I specifically asked them not to do.

Looking through Nissans inventory page it looks like about four cars have been or will soon be delivered in the Milwaukee area. I have a VIN and have been given a date.

Just in case you didn't see the thread, there is an event in Chicago next weekend that you guys might want to be a part of: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&threadid=4261

I'm hoping for my car by next week, so if any of you get yours by then, come on down. That is if you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of FIBS!

All they allow you to do is look at. They will not even open the doors, even when I've asked. They are not using it for a display model, you are escorted into the storage area. Don't worry, I think they would do this for me because I've talked to John since the concept was out and he knows I want one. So if I show up when your there some time, can sit in it?

Cool!!
I have a damn Wedding I'm supposed to attend. I'm the best man or something like that… I still plan to try to get there (There was a gift opening?). After tailgating Wisconsin cotton tops for 100+ miles, I'll be ready to move to Illinois (do I pronounce the S?) . I'll be the dude in the red Ferrari Hat drooling.

If i'm around I have no problem with people taking a look. Even though WIlde has been pretty honest with me, given all the horror stories I've been reading over the last several months I don't trust dealers to much. Where are you in the valley area, I get up there from time to time?

Thanks ebs for the feedback. I ordered my Silverstone Performance back in June, an figure I'm near the end of the list for deliveries...but am still hoping they come through with their promise by mid Oct.

I'll have to call a couple of the dealerships and see if any are in just to take a gander.

The Daytona Blue Touring at Wilde came in yesterday and will be picked up by me this evening.

Finally, only a few hours left of 8 month anticipation period!

ExtaZ,

Do you live right in the area? I'm downtown Waukesha and have recently been informed I won't likely see mine for a while yet...they are now saying Nov. 2nd! It peeves me off that I'm hearing of others who didn't even pre-order getting Zs from dealerships now already. There is one on the floor at Andrew Nissan that they say is sold, but a sales rep there was trying to get me to cancel my order at Rossen because he says the one on the floor is contingent on the guys sale of his current vehicle and that he could make it mine. He talked like a typical salesman suggesting he was going to get me a "special" deal...but nonetheless, I got the impression I could seriously have driven off the lot with it! I probably could renig on my downpayment, and get it back, but I didn't like the color....I was truely tempted to reconsider my preference though....it could be in my garage right now!

Anyway...if you live in the area and want to make a fellow enthusiast's day, get ahold of me. My wife and I would love to take a closer look at your ride!

The sales guy at my dealer made his statement about the satisfaction survey and mentioned that Nisssan execs may be making random calls to preorder customers to get their feedback on the program. I haven't heard of anyone on this board getting a call but it sure would be interesting to talk with one regarding the whole order/build/delivery process. I was the second order at the dealership but the third car delivered and my understanding is that the two prior deliveries were ordered after mine. If I could read the posts here and make some sense out of the process/delivery schedule of different cars it would make the waiting more tolerable. But, there seems to be no tie in to car type, model, color, or order date that determines the delivery schedule.

EXTAZ - I was in contact with the Dealer at WILD and he was telling me about your car. I was going to come up and check it out. Too bad I missed it I really wanted to see the Daytona Blue. I saw a Brickyard in Racine on Tuesday night and it was sweet.

Too bad no more Nissan dealers here in Kenosha.

I will be placing my order in January for an April delivery, can't wait. By the way the dealer informed me that Yellow will be an available Color early next year.

Happy Driving.
