Default Zs in service. Now hypothetically speaking...

if I get the Z back and it has mileage on it from them, what should I do?

So far I have:

1. Get in writing that they will service any problems the car will have from now on (no questions asked)

What else? Getting some paint touchups and interior pieces fixed. Car stayed over night. Left her with 2912miles and 299 on the trip odo

Instead you should've told them that you recorded the milage before you gave them the keys.

2. Post a thread on my350z forum about "Why I should have told the service dept that I heard a horror story about dealer adding mileage on a Z car".

Just make sure the service department put the correct milage of you car when you sign the paper that permit them to work on your car.

Only if they total it ... it'd suck if they wreck it, give you some crappy loaner for 45 days, and then return a rebuilt car to you.

well they have to keep it yet ANOTHER night. It rained here and the paint guy wasnt able to touch ups. Personally, I think they're full of **** since it only rained a few minutes and let up. They offered me a loner but I passed. (was going to ask for used mustang gt they have but not worth the bs).

There better not be any mileage on my car.
Zilverstone, good point man I didnt even check the paperwork when I signed . doh!
