Default Optimal Shifting Points for the Z?

From what I understand, shifting at redline is not always the fastest. Obviously, 1st gear must be redlined but what about the other gears?

Try 6K rpm for all gears.

Sorry about the confusion. I meant to ask for optimal shift points for the fastest acceleration!

Default My .02...

I agree with Silver Bullit II & samw1978, about 6,000RPMS. It seems to me from 6K to redline there is not much more acceleration. (Sounds good, though )

shift at redline.... generally.

you dont have to quite get there, 6400 is fine, just go up there, but be SURE not to hit the rev limiter, getting right up to 6600 isnt that important. the Z has a lot of leeway in its power band.
