Got my Z at the dealership yesterday, finally have time to come here to thank everyone that has been with me throughout the year.. I have read so many new driver experience but there is just no word can describe how this dream car feels without starting the car for the first time, and listen to the engine roar to life. One word: Awasome!
I am 5'9", the seat sits perfectly, I adjusted the height to the highest, there are blind spot over your left shoulder, but convex mirror can fix all that. The rear view is good, not too small for me. The interior material is good, that wasn't my main concern anyway. The short shifter is very precise, very short... Once you start driving it, it just begs you to take it over the 4000rpm break-in limit. Can't wait until 1200miles so I can try some WOT..
Some of the stuff you will probably need to get use to:
1. Ride is hard IMO (bouncy). I had a 2000 Accord with Tokico Illumina and H&R Sports springs, and it rides softer than the Z..I think it's mainly the 18" low profile that contribute to the harder rides.
2. Passenger seat belt hits the side door panel, so just secure it inside the retension clip.
3. Nav door is flimsy...but that's ok..
That's about it for now. I have to thank Shannon at Mossy Nissan of Houston for the great service I have been provided. He has many knowledge of the 350Z and other Nissan's. If you got questions, he's got the answers.. Thanks again!
Now back to driving...I will be coming here less for the next week
just kidding..

I see no front license plate holder. Did you request that, or did they just leave it off, like I've heard some dealers plan on doing?
What part of town do you live and drive in, so I can hopefully catch a glimpse
Looks awesome

I live by SouthWest part of town, more specifically, Alief. I have been driving around Westheimer from dairy ashford to galleria, so you might catch me around westheimer

One minor update, the factory stereo ROCKS! It has good bass note from the stock speakers..I don't think it's a BOSE. I have the Performance model.
200miles and more to go! Going to have her tinted on Tuesday.
