A good sound system is worth its weight in gold when it comes to sport cars. In all reality, these cars are good for one thing only: Cruising. They make bad commuter cars, they aren't very comfortable and they they don't do well on long road trips. A good stereo makes up for a lot of the conveniences you sacrifice when you purchase a 2-seater. Nissan forgot that when it came to the 350Z.

Baloney. I'm tired of people saying stuff like this. You can barely hear the engine or exhaust with all the wind noise in the cabin when the windows are down.

As far as the stereo, it doesn't seem too different from what you get in a Miata, Corvette, S2000, Z4, Audi TT.
Step up to the big Lexus, Benz or Audi and you will get a better sound system, no question.

You know, everytime I read these type of quotes, it makes me wonder...
If you tell that to every person who makes a thread like that, and they actually follow your advice, there wouldn't be those 100 threads on that specific topic, because they wouldn't have made them, but instead went to search for something that was never there.
Almost like a paradox, don't you think?
x)
I think it would make sense if there was only one and absolute thread for every topic, but looking through hundreds of pages to find what you need is a pain in the *** >.<
I get where you're going though, it is a little redundant to see a repetitive topic, but without the appearance of them once in a while, seeing the same single thread is the same as being repetitive right? o.o
Weird...

Oh, and almost everything can be upgraded really. So if you don't like the sound system, then just buy a new one, unless you're planning to keep everything stock.
