How many of you have upgraded the sound system in your Z? Before I bought mine I had already heard the sound was terrible. I bought and installed a cd player (alpine) today, but the improvement was minimal. So I'm definitely buying new speakers the the doors and rears. Correct if I'm wrong, but I think that all for speakers are 6.5". Right now I'm leaning towards Rockford Fosgate or Infinity. What have you guys done with your sound?

I wear headphones, the sound is soo bad!

 

I play a harmonica and a banjo while I'm driving.

 

Stock speakers as you have found are junk. Replace with whatver your budget will allow. Go with components in the doors, some folks on here will tell you to go without the rears, replace front only. Up to you. I went with FOCALS front and rear. No sub, and I don't miss a sub, plenty of bass for my tastes with just the FOCALS. Get a good amp as well.
