I will be back I sold my 2005 350z with 37k miles on it. I miss it already the Zs smooth lines and fitness were great to look at outside or walking toward it man that was a Great sports car. But I sold it and got $16,000 for it at Car Max a local chain that buys clean owner cars I paid the Z off and bought a 2008 BMW 530ix at age 50 something I felt I needed to upgrade.
But I still miss my 350Z though I'd rather have a 370Z I don't want to have two big payment, I'm thinking about a high mileage 2004 Black or Red 350Z that i've been looking at, if memory serve me right the problems were few in 2004.
Though the mileage is high on these cars compared to mines they have been maintaned well and $5k ain't a bad price for them. What do you think? The Red one is Auto both near the 89-102k miles mark. I've driven both and they both seem to answer Z Car.
BMW drivers say that Nissan Hype there horsepower but I can tell the differnce in nearly 290hp of the NIssan 350Z engine and the BMW's 255hp though the 530i handles well for a Sedan. I'm happy with the Bimmer, but I want a Z again I will be back in one soon, 50 yrs old or Not.
What do I have to look out for in a older 350Z? I've owned older 280Zs, 280ZXs and 300zx you had to shoot them to stop them from running.

Yep, I miss the Z maybe not right away but in a couple momths.
Really I'm just into them for the look and feel. I've driven 07 and 370Z they and Nitious Z 03-06s are faster then the stock 03-2006s but my 05 was always fast enough for me. And for a true Z fan the Z car has never been the fastest cart on the Road.
But it was the look and feel and the Nissan endless power, really quite Frankly the Notorus Zs scared the crap out of me (remember I'm 50 something) way too fast for me to own but i reallly liked driving them and knoiwing that a stock Vette ain't got a chance unless it's the new one.
I'm into look and feel really with 37k miles on a 2005 I probably looked at it more then I drove it. I know I cruised in it more then I sped in it, I liked looking in stroe front mirros as I pasted by, saying man I like that car. Hey dude thats Me.
I'm asking can the 350Zs V6 engine with nearly 90k+ miles on it last like the straight 6s?
