Being from Wisonsin I will not drive my Z on snow because they salt the roads so heavily. You folks in other states might want to consider the salt issue. Bottom line is if you State uses salt it is best to keep the car in the garage.

Boomer,
fortunately they will be days when the roads are free of salt and the sun shinning, so the Z won't be stored all winter. However, I just don't want to drive the Z in salt and snow, so on those days it is grounded.

One thing... if you have a snow tire, you will be atleast OK, but if you keep stock RE040's and especially they are pretty much worned out, you'll be doing some Initial D tricks without even realizing on the street all day when it snows.
Heck, I couldn't even pull my car out of the parking lot for 3 days when it snowed,(it wasn't even that much...3 inches?) and after 3 days 12 hours total of struggling, some guy at the apartment (he saw me doing that for 3 days and couldn't stand it any longer) brought the rope and hooked it up into the towhook in front of my car and his car, and pulled me out of the lot
