why? shes gonna have a rich grandson then several years in the future that is already making $70,000 base salary on his own... there was an LA city rookie firefighter who made $200,000 last year with overtime. that got people outside of the department pissed though, but it means its possible.

well i may become an officer in the us navy first and then that would make a firefighting career with my education a sure thing. i could go to paramedic school just for icing on the cake too. after that i would like to invest in retirement homes or just in old people in general because by 2020 1/5 americans will be 65 years or older. maybe a diner one day too. ive got big dreams, hopefully i can have success like some of you older members have had to get to this point.

i just read this entire thread........a 350 z by no means is a supercar, exotic car or anything like that .its simply a japanese sports car(fun as hell to drive out the box)
by no means should this be a first car for anyone any age any maturity level
however being a member of a few z clubs i have noticed alot of z owners think there special in someway also kinda snobs why?
most of these guys hook up there z,s and g,s to look pretty sick and some run pretty good then sit at sonic and talk smack about each others cars.why?
if you love a z get a z you want a z buy a z ..........be a responsable z owner
drive it like its a corolla on the street and a ferrari on the track
oh and if you must give your kid a z put him in a 240 first
by no means should this be a first car for anyone any age any maturity level

You're making the mistake of just looking at the standard pay. Keep in mind, that the monthly pay is mostly pocket money. Factor in the military benefits (free dental, free medical, etc), and the overall income will be higher.

^Yes. Count in danger pay, separtion pay (if married), flight pay if you fly, per diem... a bunch of other stuff, like if you know a certain language and are proficient at it, that also gets you a little more pay.
