Wow a lot of action in this thread, I was wondering why it was like 10k pages long. I think it all comes down to maturity. You can have 20 years of driving experience and still speed much more then your supposed to and keep getting tickets or getting into accidents. In the other hand if you get a car like this at a young age(not as a gift from parents, I mean actually working hard for one, knowing what it takes to get one, and appreciating it) and you can decide to be mature about it so that you don't loose it.

Other than everything already mentioned... A person needs to respect a cars power. You could be the most alert driver in the world, but if you get behind the wheel of a car too powerful for your skill level, bad things can happen. I sold my GTST to an 18 year old kid. It only had about 250rwhp. He totaled it in a month. He wasn't used to the power, rwd, insisted he could handle everything, and crashed while trying to look cool. When I drove my GTR for the first time, it only had about 350awhp while weighing in at ~3150 lbs (junkyard scale). Doesn't seem like much, but it scared me. It demanded respect. Now it's upwards of 400awhp with the stock turbos maxed (a little more than maxed), and I know when/how to use it. Awd was a new platform, so I needed the time to adapt to it's characteristics. Understanding all this is part of being ready. The typical young kid just wants to look cool. They don't appreciate the design or engineering that went into the car, not even it's history. This is what leads to crashes. They become reckless while trying to show something off. 230rwhp isn't much, but it can be too much at the same time.

Yes I go to school full time. I've never had a part time job. I own my own online marketing agency.
40k a year is ********.
Hell no. I earned this all by myself.
I'm guessing the reason you dicks don't believe me is that you haven't done anything productive in your life so far. Just a guess I could be wrong.

Cuz I find this post laughable. This isn't like a "cafepress company" is it?

I dont know why that asian guy has to use words like dicks. I find it unnecessary. Anyways I am hoping to buy a black manual 350z by the end of this summer. So excited! I am looking for 60k miles or so. 70k max hopefully. Got college payments out of the way. Just sharing my excitement

i kinda feel like this has gone farther than it should. it was really fun when it was posting our line of cars we have owned but now its just a spinning wheel fighting with the younger crowd. the fact will remain that the majority of young drivers feel invincible, and all knowledgeable and dont believe that they could possibly learn more.(no disrespect) but this isnt gonna change during this post. the best we can do is give them polite advice and hope they learn quick. hope we can get back to listing our cars.

Spork, you been here a while and warrant some respect but seriously, get off your high horse with the "your car is slow" bullchit. So you have a 18k, 1990 GTR, big deal man. There are civics out there that are faster, it's all relative.
Now, let's go back to hazing these teeny boppers.

Doesn't take an F1 driver to realize a stock Z is slow. You disagree? There's a method to my madness.
To further this... I'd like to see a civic outlaunch me.
Hazing, ah yes. Leave this to me.
On a serious note... you gay br0? You mad?

Autotrader turned up two at 18k but that's there nor there as you are missing my point. I've had all kinds of cars that were faster than my old 350z but it still doesn't mean I've lost respect for it. Yes, the the 350z is not considered a fast car but to call it slow is just plain ignorant. Now, if you were calling it slow just to get a rise out of junior here then disregard my reply and carry on as you were.

Lol this is kinda funny... You are going to try to act cool in front of all these people and yeah... I'm young... Inexperienced... And dumb... But hey... You're the one arguing, putting down, and insulting a 16 year old... More childish than anything I think.

Me? Arguing? You've given me nothing to argue about. The things you say are barely relevant. Don't you have school work to get done, though? Hopefully, it'll teach you how to create a worthy rebuttal.
You still fail to acknowledge that your car is slow and you wasted all the money to your name on it. Perfect thing to be poor for, right?
