Anyone catch the clip on the news? Some place down in Florida, some guy was in a 350Z and was chased down, cornered by police I guess.

Not sure what he did, but he made some sort of moviement in the Z that the police took as a sign of aggression towards them, and they opened fire on him, killing him in the 350Z.

damn.

Perfectly good car shot up because of some clown with a suicide wish.

I saw this on the news last night, and they were showing video of it, and they didn't mention anything about it being from September, or that cop getting off on the charges.

it could very well be the same story, but they reported it as if it just happened, not that it was old news. The video they showed was from the police cruiser, couldn't really make it out if it was redline like in the other thread or not, only that it was a darker color.

Yeah, it could totaly be the same thing... just odd that the news would report on it now. I mean, great... the cop got off on the charges... but why didn't they mention that on the news? They never mentioned the guy trying to run down a police officer or anything like that.

I did some searching... the reason it was on the news last night, is because the video was just released of the event itself. This video shows what happened, well... some of it anyway. Also, it's clearer than the video that i saw earlier on the news. Same video, but this is brighter, shows the color of the car to be infact, redline.
