Cool, I called him (fleet manager) yesterday and told him about the paintcode match for the Silverstone and polished titanium maximas because I wanted to check the color out with my own eyes. He made the comment that the customers seem to be getting more info than the dealers are (or atleast sooner) so I told him to check out this site if he wanted to see the Brickyard and Daytona Blue. He said he was gonna check it out as soon as we hung up the phone.

I also gave a quick plug to JmanZ's ability to run a sound, fair, and no bullsh!t board.

Also, Jason, they were alotted three more first round allocations so he moved the first 3 "second round" folks up to first round. I don't know if you know who these folks are ( I think I know one) but let them know if you do.

You Dallas guys let me know if ya'll want to get together for the convention sendoff at TMS.

I have had a very similar conversation with the dealership where I ordered my new Z-Brickyard/Enthusiast. It amazes me how nearly every car dealer you go to is pitifully uninformed about their product line and car specs.
As an example I went to a VW dealer to get some infor on the new VR6 GTI and they gave me the specs for last year's model. It never ceases to amaze me how these people can sell cars, just goes to show you how uninformed the majority of car buyers are!

I wouldn't be too surprised. Essentially they are salespeople with a quota they have to meet every month to keep their families fed.

Only the best and most dedicated salespeople follow their product enough to know all the stuff uncovered by the dedicated folks on this site!
